Gujar Khan: SP Saddar Anam Sher Reviews Security Arrangements for Ashura Processions

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام | 27 جون 2026) — ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے گوجر خان کے مختلف علاقوں میں 10 محرم الحرام (یوم عاشور) کے جلوسوں اور مجالس کے سکیورٹی انتظامات کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا تاکہ اس موقع پر امن و امان کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

دورے کے دوران اے ایس پی گوجر خان، ایس ایچ او گوجر خان اور دیگر سینئر پولیس افسران بھی ایس پی کے ہمراہ تھے۔ معائنے میں سکیورٹی اقدامات، پولیس نفری کی تعیناتی، نگرانی کے نظام اور مذہبی اجتماعات کے لیے مجمع کنٹرول پلانز کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔

ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے سکیورٹی انتظامات کا باریک بینی سے جائزہ لیتے ہوئے ڈیوٹی پر موجود افسران کو ضروری ہدایات جاری کیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جلوسوں میں داخل ہونے والے تمام افراد کو صرف مکمل باڈی سرچ کے بعد مقررہ انٹری پوائنٹس سے داخلے کی اجازت دی جائے تاکہ کسی بھی ممکنہ سکیورٹی خطرے سے بچا جا سکے۔

انہوں نے مزید ہدایت کی کہ تمام مجالس اور جلوس حکومت پنجاب کی جانب سے جاری کردہ ایس او پیز کے مطابق اپنے مقررہ راستوں اور وقت کی پابندی کے ساتھ شروع اور اختتام پذیر ہوں اور کسی قسم کی خلاف ورزی نہ کی جائے۔

ایس پی صدر نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت کے محرم الحرام سے متعلق ایس او پیز پر مکمل عملدرآمد کو یقینی بنایا جا رہا ہے تاکہ عزاداروں کی حفاظت کو ہر صورت یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ محرم کے دوران امن و امان برقرار رکھنے کے لیے تمام دستیاب پولیس وسائل کو بروئے کار لایا جا رہا ہے۔

انہوں نے راولپنڈی پولیس کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ فول پروف سکیورٹی انتظامات کیے گئے ہیں اور افسران مکمل طور پر الرٹ ہیں۔ یوم عاشور کے دوران تمام مذہبی سرگرمیوں کو پرامن اور محفوظ بنانے کے لیے مسلسل نگرانی جاری رکھی جائے گی۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | June 27, 2026) — SP Saddar Anam Sher conducted a comprehensive inspection of the security arrangements for the 10th of Muharram (Ashura) processions and religious gatherings (Majalis) in various areas of Gujar Khan to ensure the peaceful observance of the occasion.

During the visit, ASP Gujar Khan, the SHO of Gujar Khan, and other senior police officers accompanied the SP. The inspection focused on evaluating security measures, deployment of personnel, surveillance, and crowd management plans implemented for the religious events.

SP Saddar Anam Sher thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements and issued necessary directives to the officers on duty. She emphasised that all participants must be allowed entry into the processions only after undergoing complete body searches at designated entry points to prevent any security threats.

She further directed that all Majalis and processions must strictly adhere to the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), following their designated routes and scheduled timings for commencement and conclusion without deviation.

The SP stated that the Punjab Government’s SOPs issued for Muharram-ul-Haram are being implemented in letter and spirit to ensure the safety and security of mourners. She added that all available police resources have been mobilised to maintain a peaceful and secure environment throughout Muharram.

Reaffirming the commitment of Rawalpindi Police, SP Saddar Anam Sher said that comprehensive security measures have been put in place to safeguard participants and maintain law and order. She stressed that officers would remain vigilant throughout the observance of Ashura to ensure that all religious activities are conducted peacefully and without incident.
