London: Two British-Pakistani Brothers Cleared of Charges in Manchester Airport Incident

لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، محمد نصیر راجہ، 01 جون، 2026):مانچسٹر ایئر پورٹ پر پولیس افسران پر حملہ کرنے کے الزام میں مقدمے کا سامنا کرنے والے 2 پاکستانی نژاد بھائیوں محمد فہیر عماز اور محمد عماد کو کراؤن کورٹ کی جیوری نے بے گناہ قرار دیتے ہوئے بری کر دیا۔

قبل ازیں محمد فہیر عماز کو دو پولیس افسران سمیت تین افراد پر حملہ کرنے کا مجرم قرا ر دیا گیا تھا مگر جیوری انہیں گناہ گار ماننے کے فیصلے تک پہنچنے میں ناکام رہی۔

برطانوی ذرائع ابلاغ کے مطابق مقدمے کی سماعت کرنے والے جج نیل فلیویٹ کے سی نے فیصلے میں کہا ہے کہ استغاثہ دونوں بھائیوں پر عائد الزامات ثابت کرنے کے لیے ٹھوس ثبوت پیش کرنے سے قاصر رہا ہے لہٰذا عماز اور عماد کو الزامات سے بری کیا جا رہا ہے۔

یہ امر قابل ذکر ہے کہ 23 جولائی 2024ء کو مانچسٹر ایئر پورٹ پر ہونے والے تصادم کے بعد ایک موبائل فوٹیج انٹرنیٹ پر وائرل ہوئی تھی جس کے بعد احتجاجی مظاہروں کا سلسلہ شروع ہوا تھا۔

واضح رہے کہ دونوں بھائی راچڈیل میں رہائش پزیر ہیں اور پاکستان سے قطر ایئر ویز کی پرواز کے ذریعے آنے والی اپنی والدہ کو لینے ایئر پورٹ پہنچے تھے۔

London (Pothwar.com – Mohammad Naseer Raja, June 1, 2026): Two British-Pakistani brothers, Muhammad Fahir Amaz and Muhammad Imad, who were facing charges of assaulting police officers during an incident at Manchester Airport, have been acquitted by a Crown Court jury.

According to British media reports, the trial judge, Neil Flewitt KC, ruled that the prosecution had failed to present sufficient evidence to prove the allegations against the two brothers. As a result, both Muhammad Fahir Amaz and Muhammad Imad were cleared of all charges.

Earlier in the proceedings, Muhammad Fahir Amaz had faced allegations relating to assaults involving two police officers and another individual. However, the jury was unable to reach a verdict that established his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

The case stemmed from an altercation at Manchester Airport on July 23, 2024. The incident attracted widespread public attention after mobile phone footage of the confrontation circulated online and went viral, prompting a series of protests against alleged police misconduct. The controversy also led to the suspension of a police officer while investigations into the incident continued.

The two brothers, who reside in Rochdale, had reportedly travelled to Manchester Airport to collect their mother, who was arriving from Pakistan on a Qatar Airways flight, when the incident occurred.
