Gujar Khan: Traders Hopeful of Early Arrest in Double Murder Case

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام / 26 مئی 2026) — مرکزی انجمن تاجران گوجرخان کی قیادت نے معروف تاجر بھائیوں ملک محبوب حسین اور ملک محمود کے قتل کیس کی جاری تحقیقات پر محتاط اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی ہے کہ قاتلوں کو جلد گرفتار کر لیا جائے گا۔

مرکزی انجمن تاجران گوجرخان کے صدر راجہ محمد جواد اور جنرل سیکرٹری الحاج شہادت حسین بٹ نے دیگر عہدیداران کے ہمراہ پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ تاجر برادری اس ہائی پروفائل کیس میں متعلقہ اداروں اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کی پیش رفت کو مسلسل مانیٹر کر رہی ہے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اب تک تحقیقات درست سمت میں آگے بڑھتی دکھائی دے رہی ہیں اور تاجر برادری اداروں کی کوششوں سے مطمئن ہے۔ تاہم انہوں نے خبردار کیا کہ اگر کسی قسم کی غفلت، تاخیر یا غیر سنجیدگی کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا تو تاجروں کے پاس احتجاج سمیت تمام جمہوری راستے اختیار کرنے کا حق محفوظ ہے۔

تاجر رہنماؤں نے زور دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک برادران کا قتل ایک “ہائی پروفائل کیس” ہے جسے اب مکمل طور پر کرائم کنٹرول ڈیپارٹمنٹ (CCD) ہینڈل کر رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے مزید بتایا کہ پنجاب کے صوبائی سربراہ کی نگرانی میں ایک خصوصی تحقیقاتی ٹیم بھی متحرک ہو چکی ہے اور مختلف پہلوؤں سے تفتیش جاری ہے۔

پریس کانفرنس کے دوران رہنماؤں نے کہا، “ہم اس وقت اداروں کی تحقیقات سے مطمئن ہیں، تاہم ہماری جانب سے تعاون کو کمزوری نہ سمجھا جائے۔”

انہوں نے انکشاف کیا کہ قتل کے فوری بعد بعض عناصر نے تاجر برادری کو احتجاج پر اکسانے کی کوشش کی، لیکن انجمن تاجران نے دانستہ طور پر ایسا کوئی قدم نہیں اٹھایا تاکہ پولیس اور تحقیقاتی اداروں کی توجہ اصل مقصد یعنی قاتلوں کی گرفتاری سے نہ ہٹے۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا، “ہمیں اپنے اداروں پر مکمل اعتماد ہے اور ان شاء اللہ قاتلوں کی گرفتاری کے حوالے سے جلد اچھی خبر سامنے آنے کی امید ہے۔”

اس موقع پر انجمن تاجران کے نمائندوں نے اعلان کیا کہ عید کے بعد مقتول ملک برادران کی یاد میں ایک تعزیتی ریفرنس منعقد کیا جائے گا، جس میں تاجر برادری، سماجی شخصیات اور شہری بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کر کے مرحومین کو خراج عقیدت پیش کریں گے اور سوگوار خاندان سے اظہار یکجہتی کریں گے۔

ملک محبوب حسین اور ملک محمود کے قتل نے گوجرخان کی تاجر برادری میں شدید تشویش اور غم و غصے کی لہر دوڑا دی ہے، جبکہ تاجروں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ ملزمان کو فوری گرفتار کر کے قانون کے مطابق سخت سزا دی جائے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com / May 26, 2026) — The leadership of the Central Traders Association of Gujar Khan has expressed cautious satisfaction over the ongoing investigation into the brutal murder of two prominent trader brothers, Malik Mehboob Hussain and Malik Mahmood, stating that they remain hopeful that the perpetrators will soon be arrested.

Addressing a press conference alongside other office-bearers, President of the Central Traders Association Raja Muhammad Jawad and General Secretary Al-Hajj Shahadat Hussain Butt said that the trader community was closely monitoring the progress made by the relevant institutions and law enforcement agencies in the high-profile case.

They stated that, so far, the investigation appeared to be moving in the right direction and that the traders’ community was satisfied with the efforts being made by the authorities. However, they warned that if any negligence, delay, or lack of seriousness was observed, the trader community reserved the right to launch protests and pursue all democratic avenues available to them.

The trader leaders emphasised that the murder of the Malik brothers was a “high-profile case” and was now being fully handled by the Crime Control Department (CCD). They further revealed that a special investigative team, working under the supervision of the provincial head of Punjab, had also become actively involved in the investigation.

“We are currently satisfied with the investigation being conducted by the institutions. Our cooperation should not be misunderstood as weakness,” the leaders remarked during the press conference.

They further disclosed that, immediately after the killings, certain elements had attempted to provoke the trader community into staging protests. However, the association deliberately avoided taking any steps that could divert the attention of the police and investigative agencies away from the actual task of tracing and arresting the killers.

“We trust our institutions, and God willing, good news regarding the arrest of the murderers is expected soon,” the leaders added.

The representatives of the traders’ body also announced that a condolence reference in memory of the slain Malik brothers would be organised after Eid, where members of the business community and local citizens would pay tribute to the deceased businessmen and express solidarity with their bereaved family.

The murder of Malik Mehboob Hussain and Malik Mahmood has sent shockwaves through Gujar Khan’s business community, with traders demanding swift justice and strict action against those responsible for the killings.
