Gujar Khan: Young Soldier Sepoy Husam Zahid Martyred While Fighting Enemy at Wana

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام / 16 مئی 2026) — تحصیل گوجر خان کے گاؤںکالیں گجراں میں اس وقت فضا سوگوار ہوگئی جب وطن عزیز کی حفاظت کرتے ہوئے نوجوان سپاہی حسام زاہد نے وانہ کے مقام پر دشمن سے بہادری کے ساتھ لڑتے ہوئے جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔

خاندانی ذرائع کے مطابق شہید سپاہی حسام زاہد، مستری زاہد محمود کے جواں سال بیٹے تھے، جو تھانہ جاتلی کے نواحی گاؤں کالیں گجراں کے رہائشی تھے۔ وہ پاک فوج میں فرائض سرانجام دے رہے تھے اور وانہ کے علاقے میں تعینات تھے، جہاں دورانِ ڈیوٹی دشمن کا مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے وطن پر قربان ہوگئے۔

شہادت کی خبر پورے علاقے میں غم کی لہر دوڑا گئی۔ عزیز و اقارب، دوست احباب اور اہلِ علاقہ نے گہرے دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے شہید کی بہادری، جرات اور قربانی کو زبردست خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا۔ گرد و نواح کے دیہات سے بھی بڑی تعداد میں لوگ شہید کے گھر پہنچے اور اہلِ خانہ سے تعزیت کی۔

شہید سپاہی حسام زاہد کی نماز جنازہ گزشتہ روز بروز جمعہ 15 مئی 2026 سہ پہر 3 بجے ان کے آبائی گاؤں کالیں گجراں میں ادا کی گئی۔ نماز جنازہ میں فوجی حکام، مقامی عمائدین، سیاسی و سماجی شخصیات اور شہریوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔

شرکاء نے مادرِ وطن کے دفاع کے لیے اپنی جان قربان کرنے والے شہید کو زبردست خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا اور ان کے درجات کی بلندی جبکہ لواحقین کے لیے صبر جمیل کی دعا کی۔

نماز جنازہ اور تدفین کے موقع پر فضا انتہائی رنجیدہ تھی۔ شہید کو پورے فوجی اعزاز کے ساتھ سپردِ خاک کیا گیا جبکہ گاؤں میں پاک فوج اور شہداء کے حق میں نعرے گونجتے رہے، جو وطن کے ان بہادر سپوتوں کے لیے قوم کی محبت، احترام اور قدردانی کا اظہار تھے، جو ملک کی سلامتی اور خودمختاری کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرتے ہیں۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com / May 16, 2026) —  A wave of grief swept through the village of Kalain Gujran in Tehsil Gujar Khan after young soldier Sepoy Husam Zahid embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the enemy at Wana.

According to family sources, the martyr was the young son of Mistri Zahid Mahmood, a resident of the village Kalain Gujran, under Police Station Jatli. Sepoy Husam Zahid was serving in the Pakistan Army and was deployed in the Wana region, where he laid down his life in the line of duty while defending the motherland.

The news of his martyrdom spread sorrow throughout the area, with relatives, friends, and local residents expressing deep grief and paying tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the fallen soldier. People from surrounding villages also visited the martyr’s residence to offer condolences to the bereaved family.

The funeral prayers of Shaheed Sepoy Husam Zahid were offered today, Friday, May 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM in his native village, Kalain Gujran. A large number of people, including military officials, local elders, political and social personalities, and residents from nearby areas, attended the funeral prayer.

Participants paid rich tribute to the martyr for sacrificing his life in the defence of the country and prayed for his elevated ranks in the hereafter as well as patience and strength for the grieving family.

The atmosphere during the funeral was filled with emotion as the martyr was laid to rest with full honour. Slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army and the martyrs echoed through the village, reflecting the nation’s respect and gratitude for its brave sons who sacrifice their lives for the security and sovereignty of the country.
