Gujar Khan: Youth Injured in Firing Incident in Madni Mohalla

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام / 10مئی 2026) —— گوجر خان کے علاقے مدنی محلہ میں گزشتہ رات فائرنگ کا افسوسناک واقعہ پیش آیا، جس میں حمزہ نامی نوجوان شدید زخمی ہو گیا۔ اہلِ خانہ کے مطابق واقعہ ایک معمولی جھگڑے کے بعد پیش آیا جس نے اچانک سنگین صورتحال اختیار کر لی۔
متاثرہ خاندان کے مطابق حمزہ رات کے وقت بازار گھریلو سامان لینے گیا تھا جہاں اس کی ملاقات عرفان عرف منّا نامی نوجوان سے ہوئی۔ اہلِ خانہ کا کہنا ہے کہ عرفان نے مبینہ طور پر حمزہ کو گالیاں دینا شروع کر دیں، جس کے نتیجے میں دونوں کے درمیان تلخ کلامی اور جھگڑا ہو گیا۔
خاندان کے مطابق جھگڑے کے دوران عرفان عرف منّا نے مبینہ طور پر پستول نکال کر حمزہ پر تین فائر کیے۔ ایک گولی حمزہ کی ٹانگ پر لگی جبکہ دو گولیاں اس کی قمیض کو چھوتی ہوئی گزر گئیں۔ خوش قسمتی سے حمزہ جان لیوا حملے میں محفوظ رہا، تاہم وہ شدید زخمی ہو گیا۔
فائرنگ کے فوراً بعد اہلِ خانہ زخمی حمزہ کو تحصیل ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال گوجر خان لے گئے تاکہ فوری طبی امداد فراہم کی جا سکے۔ تاہم خاندان کا دعویٰ ہے کہ ہسپتال انتظامیہ نے انہیں بتایا کہ یہ پولیس کیس ہے اور پہلے قانونی کارروائی مکمل کرنا ضروری ہے۔
متاثرہ خاندان نے مزید الزام عائد کیا کہ جب وہ مقامی تھانے میں رپورٹ درج کروانے پہنچے تو پولیس اہلکاروں نے مقدمہ درج کرنے سے گریز کیا۔ اہلِ خانہ کے مطابق پولیس نے مبینہ طور پر مخالف فریق سے بات چیت کے بعد حمزہ کی والدہ کو شکایت درج نہ کروانے کا مشورہ دیا۔ خاندان کا یہ بھی کہنا ہے کہ انہیں خبردار کیا گیا کہ “اگر شکایت کی گئی تو آپ کا اپنا بیٹا ہی پھنس جائے گا۔”
حمزہ کی حالت تشویشناک ہونے کے باعث بعد ازاں اسے مزید علاج کے لیے راولپنڈی منتقل کر دیا گیا۔
اہلِ خانہ نے یہ بھی الزام لگایا کہ ملزم کے والد کی جانب سے سنگین دھمکیاں دی گئیں۔ خاندان کے مطابق انہیں کہا گیا کہ “آج بچ گیا ہے، دوبارہ نہیں بچے گا۔”
خاندان کے افراد کا کہنا ہے کہ واقعے کے وقت عرفان عرف منّا کے ساتھ مزید چار نوجوان بھی موجود تھے جنہوں نے جھگڑا شروع کرنے میں حصہ لیا، تاہم فائرنگ عرفان نے کی۔
متاثرہ خاندان نے اعلیٰ حکام سے فوری نوٹس لینے، شفاف تحقیقات کرانے اور تمام ملزمان کے خلاف سخت قانونی کارروائی کا مطالبہ کیا ہے تاکہ متاثرہ خاندان کو انصاف فراہم کیا جا سکے۔
خبر فائل کیے جانے تک پولیس حکام کی جانب سے واقعے اور الزامات پر کوئی باضابطہ مؤقف سامنے نہیں آیا۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com / May 10, 2026) — A tragic firing incident was reported in the Madni Mohalla area of Gujar Khan, where a young man identified as Hamza sustained serious injuries after allegedly being shot during a dispute late at night.

According to the victim’s family, Hamza had gone to the local market to purchase household items when an argument reportedly broke out between him and a young man identified as Irfan alias Munna. Family members alleged that Irfan began verbally abusing Hamza, which soon escalated into a heated confrontation.

The family claims that during the altercation, the accused allegedly pulled out a pistol and opened fire on Hamza, firing three shots. One bullet reportedly struck Hamza in the leg, while the other two grazed past his shirt. Fortunately, Hamza survived the attack despite the seriousness of the incident.

Immediately after the firing, family members rushed the injured youth to the THQ Hospital in Gujar Khan for medical treatment. However, according to the family, hospital staff informed them that the matter was a police case and legal formalities had to be completed first.

The affected family further alleged that when they approached the local police station to register a complaint, police officials avoided filing the case. They claimed that after speaking with the opposing party, officers allegedly advised Hamza’s mother not to pursue legal action. The family also alleged that they were warned that if a complaint was filed, “your own son could get into trouble.”

Due to Hamza’s condition, he was later shifted to Rawalpindi for further medical treatment.

The family has also accused the suspect’s father of issuing serious threats following the incident. According to the allegations, he reportedly warned the family by saying, “He survived today, but next time he will not.”

Family members stated that four other youths were also present with Irfan alias Munna at the time of the incident and allegedly participated in initiating the dispute, although the firing itself was allegedly carried out by Irfan.

The affected family has appealed to higher authorities to take immediate notice of the matter, ensure a transparent investigation, and initiate strict legal action against all those involved so that justice can be served.

Police officials had not issued an official statement regarding the allegations at the time this report was filed.
