ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق یہ واقعہ تھانہ جاتلی کی حدود میں پیش آیا۔ مقتول کی شناخت کشور شاہ کے نام سے ہوئی ہے، جو درکالی سیداں کا رہائشی تھا اور مبینہ طور پر مرحوم عامر شاہ سے منسلک مخالف گروہ سے تعلق رکھتا تھا۔
پولیس ذرائع کے مطابق کشور شاہ دولتالہ سے اپنے گھر واپس آ رہا تھا کہ جھونگل کے قریب نامعلوم مسلح افراد نے اسے روک کر فائرنگ کر دی۔ شدید زخمی ہونے کے باعث وہ موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہو گیا، جبکہ حملہ آور فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہو گئے۔ تاحال کسی گرفتاری کی اطلاع موصول نہیں ہوئی۔
مقامی افراد نے اس واقعے کو انتہائی افسوسناک قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ علاقے میں مخالف گروہوں کے درمیان کشیدگی کافی عرصے سے جاری ہے۔ واقعے کے بعد پولیس نے جائے وقوعہ کو گھیرے میں لے کر تفتیش شروع کر دی ہے تاکہ قتل کے محرکات کا تعین کیا جا سکے اور ذمہ داران کو گرفتار کیا جا سکے۔
لاش کو پوسٹ مارٹم کے لیے قریبی اسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کا کہنا ہے کہ ملزمان کو جلد از جلد قانون کے کٹہرے میں لانے کے لیے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
یہ واقعہ علاقے میں امن و امان کی صورتحال کے حوالے سے مزید خدشات کو جنم دے رہا ہے، جبکہ شہریوں نے حکام سے فوری اور مؤثر اقدامات کا مطالبہ کیا ہے تاکہ ایسے واقعات کی روک تھام کی جا سکے۔

Police sources stated that Kishwar Shah was returning home from Daultala when unknown assailants intercepted him near the area of Jhongal Village. He was fatally shot before help could arrive. The attackers fled the scene, and no arrests have been made so far.
