Kahuta: Inauguration of Zulekha Memorial Maternity hospital

کہوٹہ چھنی بازار میں محسن پاکستا ن ڈاکٹر عبد القدیر ؒکی والدہ ماجدہ کے نام سے منسوب جدید سہولیات سے آراستہ50بیڈ پر مشتمل “زلیخاممیوریل میٹری ہسپتال “کا شاندار اافتتاح،زلیخاممیوریل میٹری ہسپتال چھنی بازار کہوٹہ کا افتتاح،محسن پاکستا ن ڈاکٹر عبد القدیر ؒکی صاحبزادی ڈاکٹر دینا خان اور (چیئرمین زلیخاممیوریل میٹری ہسپتال)راجہ ارشد محمود نے کیا اس موقع پر کرنل وسیم جنجوعہ، ڈاکٹر ناصر عباسی،ڈاکٹر جویریہ وحید، ڈاکٹر دردانہ خان،ڈاکٹر عبیر،ڈاکٹر محمد عارف قریشی، چیئرمین راجہ شوکت حسین، چیئرمین راجہ ظفر بگہاروی، مولانا ادریس ہاشمی،حافظ و قاری عثمان عثمانی،حافظ فخر عباس،حافظ قمر رضا ء،حاجی ملک منیر اعوان، پٹواری وحید ستی،کونسلر حاجی ارشد، ملک غلام مرتضیٰ،کونسلر قاضی عبد القیوم،آصف ربانی قریشی،صدر پریس کلب کہوٹہ راجہ عمران وحید،راجہ گلزاری، راجہ شاہد محمود چھنی،سینئر صحافی ساجد جنجوعہ،راجہ شاہد اجمل، عاصی جنجوعہ،ندیم آزاد،ملک عثمان چھنی،ایڈیشنل جنرل سیکرٹری پریس کلب کبیر احمد جنجوعہ، انجینئر حبیب شہزاد،راجہ عدنان سلیم، راجہ جاوید سمیت بڑی تعداد میں سیاسی وسماجی شخصیات نے شرکت کی اس موقع پر اپنے خطاب میں مہمان خصوصی ڈاکٹر دینا خان نے کہا کہ کہوٹہ کی عوام نے میرے والد کو بہت پیار دیا ہے وہ کہوٹہ کے ہی باسی تھے میر ے والد مرحوم محسن پاکستان نے پاکستانی قوم کو ناقابل تسخیر بنانے میں بنیادی کردار ادا کیا ان کی زندگی کا پیغام اور خدمت انسانیت رہا جس پر وہ آخری دم تک کار بند رہے اپنے والد ڈاکٹر اے کیو خان کے ویژن و مشن کو جاری و ساری رکھوں گی پانچ سو بیڈ کا ہسپتال لاہور میں ان کے خواب کی تعبیر ہونے جارہی ہے جس پر کام جاری ہے اور آخری مراحل میں ہے انشاء اللہ میں اپنے والد کے مشن کو پایہ تکمیل تک پہچانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کروں گی،ان کے مشن خدمت انسانیت کو بھرپور انداز میں اپنا فرض اولین سمجھ کر ادا کروں گی اور جو محبتیں پاکستانی قوم نے میرے والد کو دیں وہ بھی قابل ستائش ہیں اور جو کارنامہ میرے والد نے پاکستانی قوم کی خاطر سر انجام دیا وہ بھی سنہری حروف سے لکھا جا چکا ہے، آخر میں محسن پاکستا ن ڈاکٹر عبد القدیرؒ کے ایصال ثواب کے لیے خصوصی دعا کی گی۔

Mator (Pothwar.com — Kabir Ahmed Janjua | 25 April 2027): A state-of-the-art 50-bed maternity facility, Zulekha Memorial Maternity Hospital, was formally inaugurated in Channi Bazaar, Kahuta. The hospital is named after the mother of the renowned Pakistani nuclear scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Dr Deena Khan, daughter of Abdul Qadeer Khan, along with Raja Arshad Mahmood, Chairman of the hospital. The event was attended by a large number of political, social, and community figures, as well as medical professionals.

Among the notable attendees were Colonel Waseem Janjua, Dr Nasir Abbasi, Dr Javeria Waheed, Dr Dardana Khan, Dr Abeer, Dr Muhammad Arif Qureshi, Raja Shaukat Hussain, Raja Zafar Bagharvi, Maulana Idrees Hashmi, and several local leaders, journalists, and community members.

Key Remarks

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Deena Khan expressed gratitude to the people of Kahuta for the love and respect they showed her father throughout his life.

“My father belonged to Kahuta, and the people here always supported him. He played a vital role in making Pakistan strong and secure,” she said.

She emphasised that her father’s lifelong mission was the service of humanity and pledged to continue his vision. Dr Deena Khan also revealed that work on a 500-bed hospital in Lahore—another dream project inspired by her father—is in its final stages.

Commitment to Healthcare

Dr. Deena Khan reiterated her commitment to carrying forward the mission of humanitarian service, stating that she considers it her foremost duty to serve the people of Pakistan in the spirit of her father’s legacy.

The ceremony concluded with a special prayer (dua) for the departed soul of Abdul Qadeer Khan.
