Kahuta: Negligence by Water Supply Staff Causes Public Hardship

محکمہ واٹر سپلائی ایم سی کہوٹہ کے نااہل عملے کی غفلت،3ہفتے قبل کہوٹہ گرڈ اسٹیشن جامع مسجد الخلیل کے قریب گڑھا کھود کر اسے ٹھیک کرنا بھول گے،نمازیوں،سکول کے بچوں اور جامع کی بچیوں کو گزرنے میں سخت مشکلات کا سامنا،محکمے کے افسر کو بار بار اطلا ع کرنے کے باوجود ان کے کان تک جوں نہیں رینگتی، اے سی کہوٹہ بھی خاموش،ضلعی انتظامیہ سے ایم سی کہوٹہ کے نااہل عملے کے خلاف سخت نوٹس لینے کی اپیل، تفصیل کے مطابق گذشتہ تین ہفتے قبل محکمہ واٹر سپلائی ایم سی کہوٹہ کے عملے نیجامع مسجد الخلیل اور جامعہ جمال القران کے قریب موجود وال کو ٹھیک کرنے کے لیے ایک بڑا گڑھا کھودا انہوں نے وال ٹھیک کر کے وہ چلے گے آج تین ہفتے گزرنے کے باجود انہوں نے اس کو ٹھیک نہیں کیا جس کی وجہ سے مسجد جانے والے نمازیوں سکول کے بچوں اور جامع کی بچیوں کو گزرنے میں سخت مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑھ رہا ہے اس سلسلے میں واٹر سپلائی کہوٹہ ایم سی کے زمہ دار افسر کو اطلا ع بھی اور اسسٹنٹ کمشنر کہوٹہ کے صحافیوں سے رابطے کے لیے بنائے گے واٹس ایپ گروپ میں اطلاع کی فوٹو بھیجے مگر اے سی کہوٹہ بھی خاموش ہو گیں ہے اہل علاقہ نے ضلعی انتظامیہ سے ایم سی کہوٹہ کے نااہل عملے کے خلاف سخت نوٹس لینے کی اپیل کی ہے۔

Mator (Potohar Dot Com — Kabir Ahmed Janjua | 14 April 2026) — Alleged negligence by the water supply department of the Municipal Committee Kahuta has caused significant inconvenience for residents, particularly worshippers and students in the area.

According to reports, around three weeks ago, water supply staff dug a large pit near Jamia Masjid Al-Khalil and Jamia Jamal-ul-Quran, close to Kahuta Grid Station, to repair a water line. Although the repair work was completed, the pit was left open and unattended.

As a result, worshippers heading to the Al Masjid, along with schoolchildren and female students of the nearby seminary, are facing serious difficulties while passing through the area. The open pit has become a safety hazard and is disrupting daily movement.

Residents say they have repeatedly informed the concerned officials, but no action has been taken so far. The issue was also raised in a WhatsApp group created by the Assistant Commissioner Kahuta for communication with journalists, where photos of the situation were shared, yet no response has been received.

Locals have expressed frustration over the continued inaction and have appealed to the district administration to take strict notice against the negligent staff and ensure the immediate filling and repair of the pit to prevent any untoward incident.
