Rawat: Three Arrested in Assault Case on Woman in Passenger Van

روات(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی | 04 اپریل 2026)—تھانہ روات پولیس نے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے مسافر وین میں 2 بچوں کی ماں سے زیادتی میں ملوث 3 افراد کو گرفتار کر لیا۔
ڈیوٹی جج غلام محمد سرفراز نے ملزمان کو 5 روزہ جسمانی ریمانڈ پر پولیس کے حوالے کردیا۔ ایک ملزم تاحال مفرور اس کی گرفتاری کے لئے چھاپے مارے جا رہے ہیں۔
عدالت نے ملزمان عقیل اور سلطان وغیرہ کو 6 اپریل کو دوبارہ پیش کرنے کا حکم دیا،گرفتار ملزمان میں مسافر وین کا ڈرائیور،کنڈیکٹر اور ان کا ایک ساتھی شامل ہیں۔ مدعیہ مقدمہ کے مطابق ملزمان نے 2 بچوں کی ماں کو اس کی ساس اور نند کی ایما پر زیادتی کا نشانہ بنایا تھا۔ مقدمے کے متن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ ملزمان نے شاپنگ کے لیے جانے والی خاتون کو گاڑی میں زیادتی کا نشانہ بنایا۔
بعد ازاں سی پی او سید خالد محمود ہمدانی نے واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے ملوث ملزمان کی فوری گرفتاری کا حکم دیا تھا جس پر روات پولیس نے فوری مقدمہ درج کیا اور ٹیکنیکل و ہیومن انٹیلیجنس ذرائع بروئے کار لاتے ہوئے ملزمان کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ اس دوران متاثرہ خاتون کا میڈیکل پراسس بھی کروایا گیا ہے۔
Rawat (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | April 04, 2026): Rawat Police have arrested three suspects involved in the alleged assault of a woman, a mother of two, inside a passenger van.
According to police officials, the arrested individuals include the van driver, conductor, and their accomplice, while one suspect remains at large. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the absconding accused.
Duty Judge Ghulam Muhammad Sarfraz presented the suspects before the court and handed them over to the police on a five-day physical remand for further investigation. The court has ordered the accused, including Aqeel and Sultan, to be produced again on April 6.
As per the complainant, the woman was allegedly targeted while she was travelling for shopping purposes. The case details further claim that the incident was carried out on the alleged instigation of her in-laws.
City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani took immediate notice of the incident and directed the police to ensure swift arrests. Following these orders, the Rawat Police registered a case and successfully apprehended the suspects using technical and human intelligence methods.
Meanwhile, the victim has undergone a medical examination, and further investigations are underway.
