According to family sources, Haji Muhammad Bashir Abbasi passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of humility, kindness, and strong ties with the religious and social circles associated with Baghar Sharif. His demise has been deeply mourned by relatives, friends, and members of the wider community both in the UK and abroad.
The funeral prayers (Namaz-e-Janazah) were offered on April 3, immediately after Friday prayers, at Jamia Islamia Ghausia Trust in Luton. A large number of mourners gathered to pay their last respects, reflecting the deep affection and respect he commanded in the community.
The Namaz-e-Janazah was led by the eminent scholar Allama Professor Dr Pir Sajid ur Rehman Bagharvi, who also offered special supplications for the departed soul. In his brief address, he highlighted the virtues of patience, faith, and service to humanity, and prayed for the deceased in the hereafter.
Namaz e janaza concluded with collective prayers for forgiveness and eternal peace for the deceased, as well as patience and strength for the bereaved family. Community members expressed their condolences to the family, especially to Haji Nazir Hussain Abbasi, during this difficult time.
