Gujar Khan: Bride Arrested for Aerial Firing at Wedding Ceremony in Mandra

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام / 28 مارچ 2026) —مندرہ تھانے کی حدودگوہڑہ میں ایک حیران کن واقعہ پیش آیا جہاں شادی کی تقریب کے دوران مبینہ طور پر ہوائی فائرنگ کرنے پر دلہن کو گرفتار کر لیا گیا، پولیس حکام نے جمعرات کے روز تصدیق کی۔

پولیس کے مطابق یہ واقعہ اس وقت منظر عام پر آیا جب دلہن کی فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے ویڈیو سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہو گئی۔ فوری کارروائی کرتے ہوئے اسسٹنٹ سب انسپکٹر (اے ایس آئی) وسیم اختر کی مدعیت میں مقدمہ درج کیا گیا۔

مقدمہ درج ہونے کے بعد قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں نے چھاپہ مار کارروائی کرتے ہوئے دلہن کو حراست میں لے لیا۔ کارروائی کے دوران دلہن کے قبضے سے ایک پستول اور چار لوڈڈ گولیاں بھی برآمد کر لی گئیں۔

پولیس حکام نے مزید بتایا کہ فائرنگ کے وقت دلہن کے قریب موجود دلہا، جس کی شناخت شہریار علی کے نام سے ہوئی ہے، موقع سے فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہو گیا۔ ملزم کی گرفتاری کے لیے تلاش جاری ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ شادیوں میں ہوائی فائرنگ اگرچہ بعض علاقوں میں ایک عام روایت سمجھی جاتی ہے، تاہم یہ عمل عوامی سلامتی کے لیے شدید خطرہ بن سکتا ہے۔ پولیس نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ ایسے غیر قانونی اقدامات کے خلاف سخت کارروائی جاری رکھی جائے گی۔ واقعے کی مزید تحقیقات جاری ہیں اور آئندہ قانونی کارروائی متوقع ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com / March 28, 2026) — In a surprising incident in the Mandra police jurisdiction area of Gohra, a bride was arrested for allegedly engaging in aerial firing during her wedding ceremony, police officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to the police, the incident came to light after a video showing the bride firing a weapon went viral on social media. Acting promptly, a case was registered on the complaint of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Waseem Akhtar.

Following the registration of the case, law enforcement authorities conducted a raid and took the bride into custody. During the operation, police also recovered a pistol along with four loaded bullets from her possession.

Police officials further revealed that the groom, identified as Shehryar Ali, who was present near the bride at the time of the firing, managed to flee the scene. Authorities have launched a search operation to locate and apprehend him.

Aerial firing at weddings, though not uncommon in some areas, poses serious risks to public safety. Police have reiterated their commitment to taking strict action against such unlawful practices.
