Scotland: Pakistan Consulate Glasgow Marks 86th National Day with Pride and Patriotism

اسکاٹ لینڈ (پوٹھوار، محمد نصیر راجہ، 25 مارچ 2026ء) – یومِ پاکستان کےموقع پر گلاسگو میں نہایت جوش و خروش اور ملی جذبے کے ساتھ ایک پُروقار تقریب منعقد ہوئی، جس میں اسکاٹ لینڈ بھر سے پاکستانی برادری اور معزز مہمانوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔

تقریب کا آغاز قونصل جنرل سمر جاوید کی جانب سے قومی پرچم لہرانے سے ہوا، جبکہ پاکستان کا قومی ترانہ فضا میں گونج اٹھا، جس نے شرکاء کے دلوں کو گرما دیا۔ اس کے بعد عالمِ اسلام اور دنیا بھر میں امن، خوشحالی اور پاکستان کی ترقی کے لیے خصوصی دعائیں کی گئیں۔

اس موقع پر صدرِ مملکت، وزیر اعظم اور نائب وزیر اعظم و وزیر خارجہ پاکستان کے پیغامات بھی پڑھ کر سنائے گئے، جن میں یومِ قومی کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کرتے ہوئے قومی اتحاد، استقامت اور ترقی کے عزم کو دہرایا گیا۔

تقریب میں اہم شخصیات نے شرکت کی، جن میں کاکب اسٹیورٹ، زبیر احمد، سابق رکن پارلیمان ایلسن تھیولس، بیلی حنیف راجہ اور بیلی نارمن میکلوڈ شامل تھے۔ اس کے علاوہ مقامی نمائندگان، کاروباری برادری کے افراد اور پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے ارکان کے ساتھ ساتھ پاکستان کے دوست بھی بڑی تعداد میں موجود تھے۔

مقررین نے برطانیہ میں مقیم پاکستانی برادری کی خدمات کو سراہا اور پاکستان و برطانیہ کے درمیان مضبوط تعلقات اور ثقافتی روابط کے فروغ پر زور دیا۔ تقریب میں اتحاد، ہم آہنگی اور مشترکہ اقدار کی خوبصورت جھلک دیکھنے میں آئی، جس نے دونوں ممالک کے دیرینہ تعلقات کو مزید مستحکم بنانے کا پیغام دیا۔

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Consul General Summar Javed, as the national anthem of Pakistan resonated through the venue, instilling a deep sense of pride among attendees. The solemn moment was followed by special prayers offered for global peace, prosperity, and the continued progress of Pakistan.

Messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out, highlighting the significance of the day and reaffirming the nation’s commitment to unity, resilience, and development.

The event was graced by several prominent figures, including Kaukab Stewart, Zubir Ahmed, former MP Alison Thewliss, Bailie Hanif Raja, and Bailie Norman McLeod. They were joined by local councillors, representatives of the business community, and a large number of members from the Pakistani diaspora, alongside friends of Pakistan.
