Rawat: Murree Administration Finalizes Eid-ul-Fitr Safety Plan for Residents and Tourists

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی، 18 مارچ 2026): ڈپٹی کمشنر مری آغا ظہیر عباس شیرازی کی زیر صدارت ڈسٹرکٹ ایمرجنسی بورڈ کا اجلاس منعقد ہوا ۔ اجلاس میں عیدالفطر کی تعطیلات کے دوران شہریوں اور سیاحوں کی حفاظت، سہولیات کی فراہمی اور کسی بھی ممکنہ ہنگامی صورتحال سے نمٹنے کے لیے ضلعی انتظامات اور متعلقہ محکموں کی تیاریوں کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا گیا۔
متعلقہ محکموں کے سربراہان نے عیدالفطر کور پلان کے تحت اپنی تیاریوں سے آگاہ کرتے ہوئے ممکنہ حادثات کے پیش نظر ٹریفک پلان، ریسکیو و طبی سہولیات، بجلی و گیس کی فراہمی، صفائی ستھرائی، سکیورٹی اور سیاحوں کی رہنمائی کے حوالے سے کیے گئے اقدامات پر بریفنگ دی۔اس موقع پر ڈپٹی کمشنر مری آغا ظہیر عباس شیرازی نے ہدایت کی کہ تمام متعلقہ محکمے عیدالفطر کی تعطیلات کے دوران ہائی الرٹ رہیں اور فیلڈ میں اپنی موجودگی کو یقینی بنائیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ شہریوں اور سیاحوں کی سہولت کے لیے ہیلپ ڈیسک اور فسیلیٹیشن مراکز کو مکمل طور پر فعال رکھا جائے جبکہ کسی بھی ایمرجنسی کی صورت میں ریسکیو 1122، ٹریفک پولیس، سول ڈیفنس اور محکمہ صحت کا عملہ مشترکہ حکمت عملی کے تحت فوری کارروائی کو یقینی بنائے۔انہوں نے مزید ہدایت کی کہ سیاحتی مقامات پر خصوصی ٹیمیں تعینات کی جائیں تاکہ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال سے بروقت نمٹا جا سکے۔
اس کے علاوہ سوشل میڈیا، ایف ایم ریڈیو، امدادی ہیلپ لائنز اور دیگر ذرائع ابلاغ کے ذریعے شہریوں اور سیاحوں کو لمحہ بہ لمحہ صورتحال سے آگاہ رکھا جائے۔ڈپٹی کمشنر مری نے تمام ہوٹلز اور گیسٹ ہاؤسز کو ہدایت جاری کی کہ وہ سیاحوں کی سہولت کے لیے انتظامات بہتر بنائیں جبکہ بجلی، گیس اور دیگر بنیادی سہولیات کی بلا تعطل فراہمی ہر صورت یقینی بنائی جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ شہریوں کی سہولت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے امدادی کنٹرول رومز اور کمیونیکیشن سسٹمز کو مکمل طور پر متحرک رکھا جائے۔انہوں نے شہریوں کو بھی ہدایت کی کہ عیدالفطر کی تعطیلات کے دوران سڑکوں پر احتیاط سے ڈرائیونگ کریں اور موجودہ حالات کے پیش نظر غیر ضروری ہجوم سے گریز کریں۔ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال میں شہری فوری طور پر ریسکیو 15، ریسکیو 1122 اور ضلعی کنٹرول رومز سے رابطہ کریں۔
ضلعی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے جاری کردہ ہیلپ لائن نمبرز کے مطابق ریسکیو کنٹرول روم سے 051- 9330016 اور 051-9330025 جبکہ ڈسٹرکٹ کنٹرول روم سے 051-9269016 اور 051-9269018 پر رابطہ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔اجلاس میں متعلقہ حکام نے بلڈنگ سیفٹی ایکٹ 2022 پر عملدرآمد، مری شہر میں نصب کیے گئے فائر ہائیڈرنٹس، خطرناک مقامات کی نشاندہی اور روڈ ٹریفک حادثات سے بچاؤ کے لیے کیے گئے ہنگامی اقدامات کے بارے میں بھی تفصیلی آگاہی فراہم کی۔
اجلاس میں ڈسٹرکٹ پولیس آفیسر، چیف ٹریفک آفیسر، ایڈیشنل ڈپٹی کمشنر جنرل، اسسٹنٹ کمشنر مری و کوٹلی ستیاں، ایس پی موٹروے پولیس، ڈسٹرکٹ ایمرجنسی آفیسر ریسکیو 1122 سمیت واسا، ڈی ڈی ایم سی، ڈویژنل فارسٹ آفیسر، محکمہ ہائی وے، بلڈنگ ڈیپارٹمنٹ، سپیشل برانچ، این ایچ اے، پیرا، میونسپل کمیٹی، لوکل گورنمنٹ، محکمہ صحت، سول ڈیفنس، واپڈا اور ویسٹ مینجمنٹ سمیت مختلف ضلعی و تحصیل محکموں کے سربراہان نے شرکت کی۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, 18 March 2026): A meeting of the District Emergency Board was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, to review arrangements for the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

The meeting focused on ensuring the safety of residents and tourists, the provision of essential services, and the preparedness of all departments to handle any potential emergency situations during the festive period.

Heads of relevant departments briefed the meeting on their preparations under the Eid-ul-Fitr core plan. These included traffic management strategies, emergency rescue and medical services, uninterrupted supply of electricity and gas, sanitation measures, security arrangements, and tourist facilitation initiatives.

The Deputy Commissioner directed all departments to remain on high alert during the holidays and ensure their active presence in the field. He emphasized that help desks and facilitation centers must remain fully operational to assist both residents and visitors.

He further instructed that in case of any emergency, coordinated and immediate action should be taken by Rescue 1122, traffic police, civil defense, and health department teams. Special teams will also be deployed at tourist spots to effectively manage any untoward situation.

Authorities were also directed to keep the public informed through social media, FM radio, helplines, and other communication channels. Hotels and guest houses have been advised to improve their arrangements to facilitate tourists, while ensuring the uninterrupted provision of basic utilities such as electricity and gas.

The Deputy Commissioner highlighted the importance of keeping control rooms and communication systems fully functional for public convenience. He also urged citizens to drive carefully during the holidays and avoid unnecessary gatherings in light of current conditions.

In case of emergencies, citizens have been advised to immediately contact Rescue 15, Rescue 1122, or the district control rooms. According to the district administration, helplines have been set up for public assistance.

The meeting also reviewed the implementation of the Building Safety Act 2022, installation of fire hydrants in Murree city, identification of hazardous locations, and preventive measures to reduce road traffic accidents.

The session was attended by senior officials, including the District Police Officer, Chief Traffic Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner General, Assistant Commissioners of Murree and Kotli Sattian, Motorway Police representatives, Rescue 1122 officials, and heads of various departments such as WASA, Forest Department, Highways, Health, Civil Defence, and local government bodies.
