Kahuta: New Bridge Completed in Village Thuther, Marking Major Community-Led Development Milestone

گاؤں تھتھر میں خوشی اور فخر کا سماں اس وقت دیکھنے میں آیا جب مرکزی سڑک کو گاؤں سے ملانے والا نیا تعمیر شدہ پل کامیابی کے ساتھ مکمل کر لیا گیا، جس سے مقامی آبادی اور گرد و نواح کے علاقوں کے لیے آمد و رفت میں نمایاں سہولت پیدا ہو گئی ہے۔

یہ اہم اور تاریخی منصوبہ چوہدری حاجی شوکت علی کی قیادت، وژن اور انتھک محنت کا نتیجہ ہے، جن کی کاوشوں سے گاؤں کی ایک دیرینہ ضرورت عملی شکل اختیار کر سکی۔ پل کی تعمیر بیرونِ ملک خصوصاً برطانیہ میں مقیم اہلِ خانہ اور دوستوں کی فراخدلانہ مالی معاونت، نیز گاؤں تھتھر اور قریبی علاقوں کے مکینوں کے بھرپور تعاون سے ممکن ہوئی۔

اس منصوبے پر مجموعی طور پر ایک کروڑ بیس لاکھ روپے سے زائد لاگت آئی، جو عوامی عطیات سے مکمل ہونے والے ترقیاتی منصوبوں میں ایک نیا ریکارڈ قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔ یہ منصوبہ نہ صرف گاؤں تھتھر بلکہ پورے ضلع میں اپنی نوعیت کا ایک بڑا اور منفرد عوامی فلاحی منصوبہ ہے۔ قابلِ ذکر بات یہ ہے کہ اتنے بڑے منصوبے کی تعمیر چار ماہ سے بھی کم مدت میں مکمل کر لی گئی، جبکہ چند معمولی فنی کام باقی ہیں۔

علاقہ مکینوں نے پل کی تکمیل پر اطمینان اور خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اس سے روزمرہ سفر میں آسانی، آمد و رفت کے دوران تحفظ، اور علاقے کی سماجی و معاشی ترقی میں نمایاں بہتری آئے گی۔ یہ پل طلبہ، مریضوں، تاجروں اور عام شہریوں کے لیے طویل مدت تک سہولت کا باعث بنے گا۔

منصوبے کی تکمیل کو باہمی اتحاد، ٹیم ورک اور اجتماعی ذمہ داری کی شاندار مثال قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔ اہلِ علاقہ نے اس منصوبے میں حصہ لینے والے تمام افراد کے لیے دعا کی کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی کاوشوں کو قبول فرمائے اور اسے صدقۂ جاریہ بنائے جو آنے والی نسلوں تک فائدہ پہنچاتا رہے۔

یہ پل نہ صرف ایک اہم انفراسٹرکچر منصوبہ ہے بلکہ اس بات کی روشن مثال بھی ہے کہ جب ایک برادری مشترکہ مقصد کے لیے متحد ہو جائے تو ناممکن کو بھی ممکن بنایا جا سکتا ہے۔

Kahuta (Pothwar.com,| February 03, 2026)–A moment of pride and celebration was witnessed in village Thuther as the newly constructed bridge connecting the main road to the village has been successfully completed, significantly improving access and mobility for residents and the surrounding areas.

The landmark project was led with vision, dedication, and tireless effort by Chaudhry Haji Shaukat Ali, whose leadership played a central role in turning the long-standing need of the village into reality. The bridge was made possible through generous financial contributions from family members and friends residing in the United Kingdom, alongside the wholehearted support of local residents of Thuther and nearby villages.

With a total cost exceeding Rs 120 million (1.2 crore rupees), the project has set a new record for community-funded development. It is being regarded as one of the largest donation-based infrastructure initiatives not only in Thuther but across the district. Remarkably, the entire construction was completed in less than four months, a rare achievement for a project of this scale, with only minor finishing work remaining.

Local residents have welcomed the completion of the bridge, stating that it will greatly ease daily travel, enhance safety, and contribute to economic and social development in the area. The bridge is expected to benefit generations to come by improving connectivity for students, patients, traders, and commuters.

The completion of the project stands as a powerful example of unity, teamwork, and collective responsibility. Community members expressed gratitude to all contributors, praying that Allah rewards everyone who played a role in the project and accepts it as a source of ongoing charity (Sadqah Jariya).

The bridge now stands not only as a vital piece of infrastructure but also as a lasting symbol of what can be achieved when a community comes together for the greater good.
