Gujar Khan: Court Grants Bail to Accused in Gujar Khan Marriage Hall Double Murder Case

گوجر خان کے ایک میرج ہال میں پیش آنے والے ہائی پروفائل دوہرے قتل کے مقدمے میں اہم قانونی پیش رفت سامنے آئی ہے، جہاں عدالت نے مقدمے کے ایک نامزد ملزم کی ضمانت منظور کر لی ہے۔

ایڈیشنل سیشن جج گوجر خان باسط علیم نے ملزم حسن اختر کی درخواستِ ضمانت منظور کرتے ہوئے قانونی کارروائی مکمل ہونے کے بعد اس کی رہائی کا حکم دے دیا۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق یہ واقعہ 5 دسمبر 2025 کو گوجر خان کے ایک میرج ہال میں شادی کی تقریب کے دوران پیش آیا، جو مبینہ طور پر فریقین کے درمیان پرانی دشمنی کا شاخسانہ تھا۔ فائرنگ کے اس افسوسناک واقعے میں مقتول رحمان علی نے اپنے ساتھیوں کے ہمراہ مبینہ طور پر فائرنگ کی، جس کے نتیجے میں محمد زرید چٹھہ (والسال، برطانیہ) موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہو گئے۔

اسی پرتشدد تصادم کے دوران رحمان علی بھی گولی لگنے سے موقع پر دم توڑ گیا، جس سے یہ واقعہ دوہرے قتل کے مقدمے کی صورت اختیار کر گیا اور علاقے میں شدید خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا۔

واقعے کے بعد حسن اختر کو رحمان علی کے قتل میں معاونت اور ملوث ہونے کے الزام میں مقدمے میں نامزد کیا گیا تھا۔

درخواستِ ضمانت کی سماعت کے دوران گوجر خان کے نامور قانون دان قیصر محمود راجہ، ایڈووکیٹ سپریم کورٹ نے ملزم کی جانب سے عدالت میں پیش ہو کر تفصیلی اور مدلل دلائل دیے۔ انہوں نے اپنے مؤقف میں ملزم کی بے گناہی پر زور دیتے ہوئے استغاثہ کے مقدمے میں موجود اہم قانونی نقائص کی نشاندہی کی۔

دفاع کے دلائل سننے اور دستیاب ریکارڈ کا جائزہ لینے کے بعد ایڈیشنل سیشن جج نے قرار دیا کہ یہ مقدمہ مزید تفتیش کے زمرے میں آتا ہے، جس پر عدالت نے حسن اختر کی ضمانت منظور کرتے ہوئے اس کی رہائی کا حکم جاری کر دیا۔

اس عدالتی فیصلے کو مقدمے میں ایک اہم پیش رفت قرار دیا جا رہا ہے، جبکہ کیس کی مزید کارروائی قانون کے مطابق جاری رہے گی۔

A significant legal development has emerged in the high-profile double murder case that occurred at a marriage hall in Gujjar Khan, as the court has granted bail to one of the accused.

Additional Sessions Judge Gujjar Khan, Basit Aleem, approved the bail application of the accused Hassan Akhtar and ordered his release after the completion of legal formalities.

According to case details, the incident took place on December 5, 2025, during a wedding ceremony at a Gujar Khan marriage hall. The tragic shooting incident reportedly stemmed from an old enmity between the parties. During the event, the deceased Rehman Ali, along with his associates, allegedly opened fire, killing Mohammad Zareed Chattha of Walsall, UK and Mahnder on the spot.

In the same violent exchange, Rehman Ali was also hit by gunfire and died at the scene, resulting in a double murder case that shocked the local community.

Following the incident, Hassan Akhtar was nominated in the case on charges of allegedly facilitating and being involved in the murder of Rehman Ali.

During the hearing of the bail application, renowned Gujar Khan-based legal expert Qaiser Mahmood Raja, Advocate Supreme Court, appeared before the court on behalf of the accused. He presented detailed and well-reasoned arguments, emphasising the innocence of his client and highlighting key legal weaknesses in the prosecution’s case.

After hearing arguments from the defence counsel and reviewing the available record, the Additional Sessions Judge concluded that the case fell within the ambit of further inquiry and subsequently approved the bail application of Hassan Akhtar, ordering his release.

The decision has been termed a major development in the case, while further proceedings are expected to continue as per the law.
