Gujar Khan: Jatli Police Arrest Woman for Murder of 10-Day-Old Infant

ایک دل دہلا دینے والے واقعے میں تھانہ جاتلی پولیس نے 10 روزہ نومولود بچے کو بے دردی سے قتل کرنے کے الزام میں ایک خاتون کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ یہ کارروائی سٹی پولیس آفیسر (سی پی او) سید خالد محمود ہمدانی کی ہدایات پر فوری طور پر عمل میں لائی گئی۔

پولیس ذرائع کے مطابق زیر حراست خاتون نومولود کی سگی تائی ہے، جس نے مبینہ طور پر ذاتی رنجش کی بنا پر معصوم بچے کو گھر کے اندر موجود کنویں میں پھینک کر قتل کر دیا۔ واقعے نے علاقے میں شدید خوف و ہراس اور غم و غصے کی لہر دوڑا دی ہے۔

یہ معاملہ اس وقت منظر عام پر آیا جب دو روز قبل نومولود کے لاپتہ ہونے کی اطلاع دی گئی۔ بچے کے والد نے تھانہ جاتلی میں اغواء کا مقدمہ درج کروایا، جس کے بعد پولیس نے فوری طور پر تفتیش کا آغاز کیا۔ واقعے کی سنگینی کو دیکھتے ہوئے سی پی او سید خالد محمود ہمدانی نے خود نوٹس لیتے ہوئے ملزمان کی فوری گرفتاری کے احکامات جاری کیے۔

دورانِ تفتیش جاتلی پولیس نے خاتون کو حراست میں لے کر شاملِ تفتیش کیا، جہاں پوچھ گچھ کے دوران ملزمہ نے نومولود کو قتل کرنے کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے واقعے کی تفصیلات بتا دیں۔

ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے بتایا کہ ملزمہ کو ٹھوس شواہد کے ساتھ عدالت میں پیش کر کے چالان کیا جائے گا اور قانون کے مطابق سخت سزا دلوائی جائے گی۔ انہوں نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ معصوم بچوں کے خلاف جرائم میں کسی قسم کی رعایت نہیں برتی جائے گی۔

پولیس حکام کے مطابق واقعے کی مزید تفتیش جاری ہے تاکہ یہ معلوم کیا جا سکے کہ آیا اس جرم میں کوئی اور شخص بھی ملوث تھا یا کسی کو پہلے سے اس بارے میں علم تھا۔

واقعے کے بعد مقامی آبادی شدید صدمے اور غم میں مبتلا ہے، جبکہ شہریوں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ ملزمہ کو عبرتناک سزا دی جائے تاکہ معصوم نومولود کو انصاف مل سکے۔

Gujar Khan(Pothwar.com —  | January 27, 2026): In a shocking and tragic incident, Jatli Police have arrested a woman accused of brutally murdering a 10-day-old newborn baby, following swift action taken on the directions of City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani.

According to police sources, the accused woman, who is the infant’s paternal aunt (aunt by relation Taye), allegedly committed the crime due to a personal grudge. The suspect reportedly threw the newborn into a well inside the house, resulting in the infant’s death.

The case came to light after the newborn was reported missing two days ago. The child’s father lodged a case of kidnapping at Jatli Police Station, prompting an immediate investigation. Acting on the seriousness of the matter, CPO Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani took notice of the incident and issued strict orders for the immediate arrest of those involved.

During the course of the investigation, Jatli Police took the suspect into custody and included her in the interrogation process. During questioning, the accused confessed to killing the newborn and revealed details of the crime.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SP) Saddar, Inam Sher, stated that the accused woman has been formally arrested and will be presented before the court with solid evidence. He assured that the police will ensure the suspect is charged in court and punished according to the law.

Police officials emphasised that no leniency will be shown in such heinous crimes, especially those involving innocent children. The investigation is ongoing to determine if any other individuals were involved or had prior knowledge of the incident.

The tragic incident has caused shock and grief in the local community, with residents demanding strict punishment for the accused to ensure justice for the innocent newborn.
