Gujar Khan: Inauguration of Drainage Construction Project on Daultala–Sukho Road

دولتالہ سکھو روڈ پر نکاسی آب کے دیرینہ مسئلے کو حل کرنے کے لیے نالہ (ڈرینیج چینل) تعمیراتی منصوبے کا باقاعدہ افتتاح کر دیا گیا۔ اس منصوبے کا باضابطہ آغاز ایک پروقار افتتاحی تقریب کے دوران کیا گیا جو معروف عوامی و سماجی شخصیت ٹھیکیدار راجہ ظہور احمد جنجوعہ کی رہائش گاہ واقع آمنہ آباد، دولتالہ میں منعقد ہوئی۔

تقریب میں علاقے کی ممتاز سیاسی و سماجی شخصیات نے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر مسلم لیگ (ن) کے مرکزی رہنما اور سابق وفاقی پارلیمانی سیکرٹری راجہ جاوید اخلاص اور رکن صوبائی اسمبلی پنجاب راجہ شوکت عزیز بھٹی مہمانِ خصوصی تھے۔

تقریب میں سابق چیئرمین محمد خان بھٹی، مسلم لیگی رہنما طیب قریشی، چوہدری شاہد لودھی، حافظ عاصم، شیخ سجاد احمد سمیت بڑی تعداد میں سیاسی کارکنان، سماجی رہنما اور دولتالہ و گردونواح کے علاقہ مکین شریک ہوئے۔

تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے راجہ جاوید اخلاص نے کہا کہ تعمیر و ترقی مسلم لیگ (ن) کا بنیادی نصب العین ہے اور پارٹی ہمیشہ عوامی خدمت اور انفراسٹرکچر کی بہتری کو ترجیح دیتی آئی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دولتالہ سکھو روڈ پر نالوں کی تعمیر سے نہ صرف سڑک کی عمر میں اضافہ ہوگا بلکہ علاقے کے مکینوں کو درپیش نکاسی آب کا دیرینہ مسئلہ بھی مستقل طور پر حل ہو جائے گا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ“ہم سیاست صرف ووٹ کے حصول کے لیے نہیں کرتے بلکہ عوام کے معیارِ زندگی کو بہتر بنانا ہمارا مقصد ہے۔”

رکن صوبائی اسمبلی راجہ شوکت عزیز بھٹی نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ مسلم لیگ (ن) عملی خدمت پر یقین رکھتی ہے اور یہ منصوبہ اسی سوچ کا عملی مظہر ہے۔ انہوں نے بتایا کہ حلقے میں ترقیاتی منصوبوں کا جال بچھایا جا رہا ہے اور دولتالہ اور اس کے گردونواح کی تعمیر و ترقی ان کی اولین ترجیحات میں شامل ہے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ اس نالہ تعمیراتی منصوبے سے آمنہ آباد اور ملحقہ آبادیوں کے مکینوں کو گندگی، کھڑے پانی اور غیر صحت بخش حالات سے نجات ملے گی۔ انہوں نے یقین دہانی کروائی کہ ہر یونین کونسل میں بلا تفریق ترقیاتی کام جاری ہیں اور مستقبل قریب میں مزید بڑے منصوبے مکمل کیے جائیں گے۔

تقریب کے میزبان ٹھیکیدار راجہ ظہور احمد جنجوعہ نے معزز مہمانوں اور شرکاء کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور اس عزم کا اظہار کیا کہ وہ آئندہ بھی علاقے کی فلاح و بہبود اور ترقی کے لیے اپنی خدمات جاری رکھیں گے۔

تقریب کے اختتام پر ملک و قوم کی سلامتی، خوشحالی اور منصوبے کی بروقت اور کامیاب تکمیل کے لیے خصوصی دعا کی گئی۔ اس موقع پر سیاسی و سماجی رہنماؤں اور علاقہ مکینوں کی بڑی تعداد کی شرکت نے منصوبے کے لیے عوامی حمایت کا واضح اظہار کیا۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com — January 12, 2026): A long-standing drainage problem on the Daultala–Sukho Road is set to be resolved with the formal inauguration of a nala (drainage channel) construction project. The project was officially launched during a dignified inaugural ceremony held at the residence of renowned public and social figure, Contractor Raja Zahoor Ahmed Janjua, located in Amna Abad, Daultala.

The ceremony was attended by prominent political and social personalities from the area. The chief guests on the occasion were Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central leader and former Federal Parliamentary Secretary Raja Javed Ikhlas, along with Member of the Punjab Provincial Assembly Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti.

Among other notable attendees were former Chairman Muhammad Khan Bhatti, PML-N leader Tayyab Qureshi, Chaudhry Shahid Lodhi, Hafiz Asim, Sheikh Sajjad Ahmed, and a large number of political workers, social leaders, and local residents from Daultala and surrounding areas.

Addressing the gathering, Raja Javed Ikhlas stated that development and progress remain the core mission of PML-N. He emphasized that the party has always prioritized public service and infrastructure development. He said that the construction of drainage channels on Daultala–Sukho Road would not only enhance the durability and lifespan of the road but would also provide a permanent solution to the long-standing sewerage issues faced by local residents. “We do not do politics merely for votes; our aim is to raise the standard of living of the people,” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti said that PML-N believes in practical service and that this project is another step in that direction. He highlighted that a network of development projects is being laid across the constituency and that the development of Daultala and its surrounding areas remains among his top priorities. He noted that the drainage project would relieve the residents of Amna Abad and nearby localities from problems related to stagnant water and unsanitary conditions. He assured that development work is being carried out without discrimination in every union council and that more major projects will be completed in the near future.

The host of the ceremony, Contractor Raja Zahoor Ahmed Janjua, expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests and participants for their presence. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for the welfare and development of the area.

The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for the safety and prosperity of the country and for the successful and timely completion of the drainage project. A large number of local residents and political and social leaders participated in the event, reflecting strong public support for the initiative.
