London: Former Chairman UC Smot, Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob, Passes Away in Slough, UK
حاجی چوہدری محمد یعقوب سابق چیئرمین یونین کونسل سموٹ سلاؤ، برطانیہ میں وفات پا گئے
لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 11 مارچ 2025) – حاجی چوہدری محمد یعقوب، سابق چیئرمین یونین کونسل (UC) سموٹ، تقدیر الٰہی سے سلاؤ، برطانیہ میں وفات پا گئے۔ ان کی وفات کی خبر سن کر نہ صرف ان کے خاندان اور قریبی عزیزوں میں غم کی لہر دوڑ گئی بلکہ برطانیہ اور پاکستان میں مقیم پاکستانی کمیونٹی بھی گہرے رنج و الم میں مبتلا ہو گئی۔
حاجی چوہدری محمد یعقوب ایک معزز سیاسی اور سماجی شخصیت تھے، جو اپنے دورِ قیادت میں عوامی خدمت اور فلاحی کاموں کے لیے مشہور تھے۔ وہ چوہدری مسعود احمد (ڈھوک بابا فیض بخش، سموٹ) کے والد، حاجی مختار احمد اور چوہدری شفیق احمد کے چچا زاد بھائی، چوہدری محمد طارق کے چچا، اور چوہدری ظہیر احمد و چوہدری ظہور احمد کے ماموں تھے۔
ان کی وفات خاندان اور برادری کے لیے ایک ناقابل تلافی نقصان ہے۔ ان کی نماز جنازہ جامع مسجد، سلاؤ میں ادا کی گئی، جس میں بڑی تعداد میں عزیز و اقارب، دوست احباب اور کمیونٹی کے افراد نے شرکت کی اور تعزیت کا اظہار کیا۔
ان کے جسد خاکی کو تدفین کے لیے ان کے آبائی گاؤں ڈھوک بابا فیض بخش، سموٹ لے جایا جائے گا، جہاں انہیں سپرد خاک کیا جائے گا۔
London (Pothwar.com, March 11, 2025) – Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob, former Chairman of Union Council (UC) Smot, has passed away in Slough, United Kingdom, due to the will of Allah. His death has deeply saddened his family, friends, and the wider Pakistani communities both in the UK and Pakistan.
Haji Chaudhry Muhammad Yaqoob was a respected political and social figure known for his dedication to public service during his term in Smot. He was the father of Chaudhry Masood Ahmed (Dhok Baba Faiz Bakhsh, Smot), the cousin of Haji Mukhtar Ahmed and Chaudhry Shafiq Ahmed, the uncle of Chaudhry Muhammad Tariq, and the maternal uncle of Chaudhry Zaheer Ahmed and Chaudhry Zahoor Ahmed.
His passing is a great loss to his family and the community. Namaz e Janaza was held at Jammia Masjid, Slough with large numbers of relatives, friends, and community members gathered to pay their respects and offer condolences.
The body will be taken to Smot for burial at his ancestral village in Dhok Baba Faiz Bakhsh.
