Rawat: Woman Attacked with Acid in Dhamial; Ex-Husband Arrested

روات (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم ,اکرام الحق قریشی۔23,فروری 2025ء)—دھمیال کے علاقہ چکری روڈ میں خاتون پر تیزاب پھینکے جانے کے واقعہ پر سی پی او سید خالد ہمدانی کا نوٹس ایس پی صدر سے رپورٹ طلب، ملوث ملزمان کی فوری گرفتاری کا حکم ,دھمیال پولیس کی فوری کارروائی, خاتون کا سابقہ شوہر محمد ریاض گرفتار،,متاثرہ خاتون اور انکے والد کو ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا ہے، خاتون والد کے ساتھ موٹر سائیکل پر تھیں کہ اسی دوران ملزمان نے تیزاب پھینکا، ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق خاتون نے اپنے سابقہ شوہر سے خلع لی تھی، جوکہ واقعہ ذاتی رنجش کا شاخسانہ لگتا ہے، واقعہ کی تمام زاویوں پر تحقیقات کی جا رہی ہیں، خواتین کے خلاف جرائم خصوصاً تیزاب گردی قابل برداشت نہیں، ملزمان کو قرار واقعی سزا دلوائی جائے گی،

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, February 23, 2025) – City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani has taken notice of an acid attack on a woman in the Chakri Road area of Dhamial. He has demanded a report from SP Saddar and ordered the immediate arrest of those involved.

Dhamial Police swiftly acted on the case and arrested Muhammad Riaz, the victim’s ex-husband. The woman and her father were shifted to the hospital for treatment. According to initial investigations, the woman had previously obtained khula (legal separation) from her former husband, suggesting that the attack was driven by personal enmity.

The incident occurred while the woman was riding a motorcycle with her father when the suspect threw acid at her. Authorities have assured that all angles of the case are being investigated, emphasizing that crimes against women, particularly acid attacks, will not be tolerated. The police have vowed to ensure strict punishment for the perpetrators.
