Rawat: Plans Finalized for Creation of Two New Tehsils Dhamyal and Chaklala in Rawalpindi

روات–(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، اکرام الحق قریشی،20، ستمبر، 2024ء ) –ب راولپنڈی میں انتظامی اختیارات کی تقسیم کیلئے تین کی بجائے دو نئی تحصیلیں بنانے کیلئے ورکنگ مکمل کرکے کمشنر آفس راولپنڈی کو بھجوائی دی گئی ہے۔دھمیال اور چکلالہ کو نئی تحصیل کا درجہ د یئے جانے کا امکان ہیتاہم ابھی ناموں کو حتمی شکل نہیں دی گئی۔ تحصیل بنانے کا فیصلہ وزیر اعلی پنجاب کی منظوری سے ممکن ہوگا۔ادھرذرائع کا دعویٰ ہے کہ دولتالہ کو تحصیل کا درجہ نہ دینے کے حوالے راولپنڈی انتظامیہ کو زبانی طور پر آگاہ کردیا گیا ہے۔سابق وزیر اعلی پنجاب چوہدری پرویز الہی نے اپنے دور حکومت کے آخری ایام میں دولتالہ کو تحصیل بنانے کی منظوری دینے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, September 20, 2024) – Plans for the administrative division of Rawalpindi have been finalized, reducing the previously proposed three new tehsils to two.

The proposal has been sent to the Rawalpindi Commissioner’s Office for approval. It is expected that Dhamyal and Chaklala will be given the status of new tehsils, although the names are yet to be finalized.

The decision will be subject to the approval of the Chief Minister of Punjab. Sources have also claimed that the Rawalpindi administration has been verbally informed not to grant tehsil status to Daultala.

It is worth noting that former Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi had announced the decision to grant Daultala tehsil status in the final days of his tenure.
