لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، محمد نصیر راجہ، 26,جولائی، 2024) – برطانوی پولیس نے ایک مانچسٹر ایئرپورٹ پر ایک نوجوان کو دبوچ لیا اور اسے زمین پر لٹا دیا، اس کے ہاتھ پیچھے سے باندھ دیئے اور لاتوں سے مارنا شروع کر دیا۔ یہ ایک وائرل ویڈیو کی منظر کشی ہے۔ اس ویڈیو میں نظر آرہا نوجوان جو پاکستانی تھا۔ پولیس کے تشدد کا یہ ویڈیو جب وائرل ہوا تو برطانیہ کی پاکستانی کمیونٹی نے احتجاج شروع کر دیا، جس کے بعد محکمہ پولیس حرکت میں آئی اور پولیس اہلکار کے خلاف کارروائی کی۔
پولیس کے مطابق مانچسٹر ائیرپورٹ پر مسافروں کی جانب سے جھگڑے کی اطلاع پر منگل کو ٹھیک 8 بج کر 25 منٹ پر مسلح افسران کو ایئر پورٹ پر طلب کیا گیا۔ پولیس کے مطابق ایئرپورٹ پر ایک مشتبہ شخص کو گرفتار کرنے کے دوران پولیس اور مسافروں میں ٹکراؤ ہوا۔ پولیس کا دعویٰ ہے کہ اس تشدد میں تین پولیس اہلکار زخمی ہوئے ہیں جو اسپتال میں زیر علاج ہیں۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق پولیس نے ایک نوجوان کے قریب آکر کہا کہ وہ ایک مطلوبہ شخص ہے۔ اس کے بعد پولیس نے اسے گرفتار کرنے کی کوشش کی جس کے بعد یہ سب ہنگامہ ہوا۔ پولیس نے نوجوان کو پیٹ کے بل لٹا دیا اور اس کی لاتوں سے پٹائی شروع کر دی۔ اس ویڈیو کے وائرل ہوتے ہی برطانوی پولیس نے ویڈیو میں نظر آرہے ایک پولیس اہلکار کو معطل کر دیا۔وائرل ویڈیو کو ائیر پورٹ پر موجود عینی شاہدین اور متاثرین کے خاندان کی جانب سے ریکارڈ کیا گیا تھا۔اس واقعہ کے حوالے سے برطانیہ کی پاکستانی کمیونٹی میں شدید غم و غصہ پایا جا رہا ہے۔ بدھ کی رات سینکڑوں افراد گریٹر مانچسٹر کے روچڈیل میں پولیس سٹیشن کے باہر پولیس تشدد کے خلاف احتجاج کیا ہے۔
گریٹر مانچسٹر کے میئر نے بھی اس ویڈیو کو پریشان کن قرار دیا ہے۔ انھوں نے کہا کہ وہ اس حوالے سے پائی جانے والی تشویش کو اچھی طرح سمجھتے ہیں۔

According to police reports, armed officers were called to Manchester Airport at exactly 8:25 AM on Tuesday following reports of an altercation among passengers. The police stated that during the arrest of a suspect, a confrontation occurred between the police and the passengers, resulting in injuries to three officers who are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
The incident began when the police approached the young man, claiming he was a wanted individual. As they attempted to arrest him, the situation escalated, leading to the violent scene captured on video. The footage, recorded by eyewitnesses and the victim’s family, shows the police forcing the man to lie on his stomach and then kicking him.
The video’s virality prompted immediate action from the British police, leading to the suspension of the officer seen in the footage. The incident has caused significant anger within the Pakistani community in Britain. On Wednesday night, hundreds of people protested outside a police station in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, condemning the police’s actions.
The Mayor of Greater Manchester has also expressed concern over the video, acknowledging the widespread distress it has caused and promising a thorough investigation.
