Unfortunately, he passed away during treatment. Legal proceedings under section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code have been initiated regarding his death.

In response to the incident, SSP Operations has suspended all eight officers involved and issued charge sheets against them. Additionally, under the orders of CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani, the SHO of Civil Lines has been placed on close-to-line duty and issued a charge sheet.

The inquiry into the incident is being conducted by SP Headquarters and is expected to be completed within 72 hours. Based on the findings of the inquiry report, strict departmental action will be taken against those found responsible, According to the police statement.
