Rawat: “Residential Homes to Face a Monthly Tax of 50 Rupees, While Shops to Be Charged 200 Rupees: New Taxation Policy Unveiled”

روات(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم,اکرام الحق قریشی,18،نومبر,2023)—اب گاؤں چمکیں گے پروگرم کے تحت عوام سے ٹیکس وصولی شروع کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ رہائشی گھروں سے 50روپے اور دکانوں سے 200 روپےماہانہ ٹیکس لیا جائے گا۔ پٹرول پمپ، شادی ہال اور سروس سٹیشن پر ایک ایک ہزار جبکہ انڈسٹریل یونٹ سے دو ہزار روپے ماہانہ کوڑا ٹیکس لیا جائے گا۔ پروگرام کے تحت راولپنڈی میں 85،اٹک میں 71،مری12،جہلم 44، چکوال 46اور تلہ گنگ ضلع کی25یونین کونسلیں شامل ہیں۔راولپنڈی ڈویژن کی283یونین کونسلوں میں اب تک17ہزار378مختلف سرگرمیاں انجام دی جاچکی ہیں۔پنجاب حکومت نے صوبے کی2468دیہی یونین کونسلوں کو اب گاؤں چمکیں گے پروگرام میں شامل کیا ہوا ہے۔پروگرام کے تحت سالانہ 4 ارب2کروڑ 77لاکھ76ہزارروپے ٹیکس کی مد میں اکھٹے ہوں گے۔جبکہ اخراجات پانچ ارب 18کروڑ 28لاکھ روپے ہوں گے۔پروگرام کے تحت ہر یونین کونسل میں صفائی کیلئے تین سینٹری ورکرز رکھے گئےہیں۔تین لوڈر رکشا کرائے پر لئے جانے ہیں۔اخراجات پورے کرنے کیلئے کوڑا ٹیکس کا نفاذ کیا گیا ہے۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر راولپنڈی وقار حسن چیمہ نے اسسٹنٹ کمشنرز اور ڈی ڈی ایل جیز کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ وہ پروگرام کو فوکس کریں اور مسائل کے حل میں حائل رکاوٹوں کو دور کریں۔ پروگرام کے تحت دیہات کی صفائی ستھرائی، گاؤں کی داخلی سڑک کنارے پر موجود درختوں کے تنے پر رنگ، گھاس کی کٹائی، سیورئج لائنوں کی صفائی اور گاؤں میں موجود سرکاری دفاتر اور سرکاری سکولز و کالجز کی بلڈنگ کا رنگ روغن سمیت گاؤں کی خوبصورتی میں اضافہ بننے والے تمام پہلو شامل ہیں۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram ul Haq Qureshi, November 18, 2023) – A decision has been made to initiate tax collection from the public under the ‘Village Shine’ program. Residential homes will be subjected to a monthly tax of 50 rupees, while shops will face a levy of 200 rupees. Petrol pumps, wedding halls, and service stations will be taxed a thousand rupees each, while industrial units will be charged two thousand rupees monthly.

The program includes 85 councils in Rawalpindi, 71 in Attock, 12 in Murree, 44 in Jhelum, 46 in Chakwal, and 25 in Talagang district. So far, 17,378 different activities have been carried out in the 283 union councils of the Rawalpindi division. The Punjab government has included 2,468 rural union councils in the ‘Village Shine’ program.

Under the program, an annual revenue of 4.2776 billion rupees will be collected, while expenditures are estimated to be 5.1828 billion rupees. To ensure cleanliness in each union council, three sanitation workers have been assigned. Three loaders have been arranged for waste disposal. The imposition of a garbage tax has been introduced to meet the expenses.

Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Waqar Hasan Cheema has instructed Assistant Commissioners and DDOs to focus on the program and eliminate obstacles in problem-solving. The program aims to enhance the beauty of villages by addressing issues such as cleaning villages, coloring tree trunks along internal roadsides, grass cutting, sewerage line cleaning, and painting government offices, schools, and colleges in villages, among other aspects.
