Gujar Khan: Gas Leak Explosion Kills Woman, Injures Four in Thakra area of Narali

جاتلی: تھانہ جاتلی کے علاقہ ٹھاکرہ داخلی نڑالی میں آج صبح گیس لیکج کے باعث ہونے والے زور دار دھماکے کے نتیجے میں ایک خاتون جاں بحق جبکہ چار افراد شدید زخمی ہو گئے۔ دھماکہ اس قدر شدید تھا کہ چار مکانات مکمل طور پر تباہ ہو گئے اور پورے علاقے میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق یہ افسوسناک واقعہ صبح تقریباً چھ بجے پیش آیا جب زیادہ تر لوگ اپنے گھروں میں موجود تھے۔ دھماکے کی شدت سے متاثرہ گھروں کی دیواریں اور چھتیں زمین بوس ہو گئیں جس کے باعث کئی افراد ملبے تلے دب گئے۔

ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق دھماکے سے متاثر ہونے والے گھروں کے مالکان میں طالب، فیصل، احمد اور صوبیدار ریاست شامل ہیں جن کے مکانات بری طرح تباہ ہو گئے۔

اس افسوسناک حادثے میں باوا حمد کی 24 سالہ بیٹی موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہو گئی جبکہ فیصل کی اہلیہ اور اس کے تین بچے شدید جھلس گئے۔

ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق زخمیوں کو فوری طور پر طبی امداد کے لیے کھاریاں کے برن سنٹر منتقل کر دیا گیا جہاں ڈاکٹروں کے مطابق ان کی حالت تشویشناک بتائی جا رہی ہے۔

دھماکے کے فوراً بعد مقامی افراد نے اپنی مدد آپ کے تحت امدادی کارروائیاں شروع کر دیں۔ اہل علاقہ نے ملبے تلے دبے افراد کو نکالا اور متاثرین کو محفوظ مقامات پر منتقل کیا۔

اطلاع ملنے پر پولیس اور دیگر متعلقہ اداروں کی ٹیمیں بھی جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ گئیں اور امدادی سرگرمیوں میں حصہ لیا۔ پولیس نے علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے کر تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا ہے۔

ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق دھماکہ گیس لیکج کے باعث پیش آیا تاہم حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ واقعے کی مزید تحقیقات جاری ہیں تاکہ اصل وجوہات کا تعین کیا جا سکے۔

یہ افسوسناک واقعہ علاقے کے لوگوں کے لیے شدید صدمے کا باعث بنا ہے جبکہ شہریوں نے حکام سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ مستقبل میں ایسے واقعات سے بچنے کے لیے حفاظتی اقدامات کو مزید مؤثر بنایا جائے۔

Gujar Khan, Pothwar.com, March 15, 2026 — A powerful explosion caused by a suspected gas leak early Saturday morning in the Thakra area of Narali, within the jurisdiction of Jatli Police Station, left one woman dead and four others severely injured. The blast also completely destroyed four houses, spreading panic throughout the neighbourhood.

According to initial reports, the explosion occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m., when most residents were inside their homes. The force of the blast was so intense that the walls and roofs of several houses collapsed instantly, leaving residents trapped under the rubble.

Sources said that the houses belonging to Talib, Faisal, Ahmad, and Subedar Riasat were severely affected, with the structures being almost entirely demolished. The loud explosion was heard across the locality, causing fear and chaos among nearby residents.

In the tragic incident, the 24-year-old daughter of Bawa Hamad died on the spot due to the impact of the blast. Meanwhile, Faisal’s wife and his three children suffered severe burn injuries.

The injured victims were immediately shifted to the Burn Center in Kharian for urgent medical treatment. Hospital sources have described their condition as critical.

Following the explosion, local residents rushed to the site and began rescue efforts on their own. Community members helped pull victims out from under the debris and moved them to safer locations before emergency services arrived.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police and other relevant authorities reached the scene and joined the rescue and relief operations. Officials secured the area and began preliminary investigations.

Initial findings suggest that the explosion occurred due to a gas leakage, though authorities have stated that a detailed investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The tragic event has left the community in shock, with residents demanding stronger safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
