Rawat: hree Wanted Robbers Arrested After Firing on Police; Two Accomplices Escape
راوت میں پولیس پر فائرنگ کے بعد تین خطرناک ڈاکو زخمی حالت میں گرفتار، دو فرار
کلر سیداں (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی | 11 مارچ 2026)–تھانہ روات کے علاقے میں رات گئے پولیس اور ڈاکوؤں کے درمیان فائرنگ کے تبادلے کے بعد تین خطرناک اور مطلوب ڈاکوؤں کو زخمی حالت میں گرفتار کر لیا گیا جبکہ ان کے دو ساتھی فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہوگئے۔
پولیس کے مطابق ناکہ بندی کے دوران پولیس پارٹی نے ایک مشکوک موٹر سائیکل اور کار کو رکنے کا اشارہ کیا، تاہم ملزمان نے رکنے کے بجائے پولیس پارٹی پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ شروع کر دی۔ پولیس کی جانب سے جوابی کارروائی کے نتیجے میں فائرنگ کا تبادلہ ہوا۔
فائرنگ کے دوران تین ملزمان زخمی ہوگئے جنہیں گرفتار کر لیا گیا جبکہ دو ملزمان اندھیرے کا فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے فرار ہو گئے۔ پولیس نے ملزمان کے زیر استعمال مہران کار اور اسلحہ بھی برآمد کر لیا۔
گرفتار زخمی ملزمان کی شناخت خاور، زاہد اور عدنان کے ناموں سے ہوئی ہے۔ پولیس کے مطابق زیر حراست ملزمان جڑواں شہروں میں ڈکیتی، منشیات فروشی، چوری، ضرر اور ناجائز اسلحہ کے متعدد مقدمات میں ملوث اور ریکارڈ یافتہ ہیں۔
فائرنگ کے دوران دو گولیاں سرکاری گاڑی کو لگیں جبکہ دو گولیاں کانسٹیبل فیصل شہزاد کو بھی لگیں تاہم وہ بلٹ پروف جیکٹ پہننے کی وجہ سے محفوظ رہے۔
واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی سینئر پولیس افسران اضافی نفری کے ہمراہ موقع پر پہنچ گئے۔ فرار ہونے والے ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے علاقے میں سرچ آپریشن جاری ہے جبکہ زخمی ملزمان کو علاج معالجے کے لیے ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔
اس موقع پر سٹی پولیس آفیسرسی پی او سید خالد محمود ہمدانی نے پولیس ٹیم کی بہادری کو سراہتے ہوئے ایس پی صدر، اے ایس پی صدر اور روات پولیس کو شاباش دی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ شہریوں کی جان و مال سے کھیلنے والے اور پولیس پر حملہ کرنے والے قانون کی گرفت سے نہیں بچ سکتے۔
Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | March 11, 2026): Three dangerous and wanted robbers were arrested in an injured condition after an exchange of fire with police in the jurisdiction of Rawat Police Station late at night, while two of their accomplices managed to escape from the scene.
According to police sources, a police team was conducting routine checks during a checkpoint operation when they signalled a suspicious motorcycle and a car to stop. Instead of complying, the suspects opened fire on the police party. Police retaliated, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire.
During the encounter, three suspects were injured and arrested on the spot, while two others managed to flee under the cover of darkness. Police also recovered a Mehran car used by the suspects along with illegal weapons.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Khawar, Zahid, and Adnan. Police officials stated that the suspects are hardened criminals and have previously been involved in numerous cases in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, including robbery, narcotics trafficking, theft, assault, and illegal possession of weapons.
During the firing, two bullets struck the official police vehicle, while two bullets also hit Constable Faisal Shahzad. However, he remained unharmed due to wearing a bulletproof jacket.
Upon receiving information about the incident, senior police officers reached the scene along with additional police personnel. A search operation has been launched in the surrounding areas to arrest the two suspects who managed to escape.
The injured suspects were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, while police have initiated further investigation into the case.
City Police Officer Syed Khalid Mehmood Hamdani appreciated the bravery of the police team. He commended the efforts of the SP Saddar, ASP Saddar, and Rawat Police for courageously confronting the armed criminals and successfully arresting the wanted suspects while recovering weapons.
He stated that those who endanger the lives and property of citizens or attack police officials cannot escape the grip of the law.
