جاتلی کے نواحی علاقے قطبال، قطب شہید میں فائرنگ کا افسوسناک واقعہ پیش آیا، جہاں ایک نوجوان کو اس کے بہنوئی نے مبینہ طور پر گولیاں مار کر قتل کر دیا۔ واقعہ طویل عرصے سے چلی آ رہی خاندانی رنجش کا نتیجہ بتایا جا رہا ہے۔
مقامی ذرائع کے مطابق مقتول کی شناخت اصالت کے نام سے ہوئی ہے، جسے اس کے بہنوئی بلال نے فائرنگ کر کے موت کے گھاٹ اتار دیا۔ ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اصالت نے تقریباً دو سال قبل پسند کی شادی کی تھی، جس پر خاندان میں شدید ناراضگی اور تنازعہ چلا آ رہا تھا۔ ابتدائی پولیس تحقیقات کے مطابق یہ افسوسناک واقعہ اسی خاندانی رنجش کا شاخسانہ معلوم ہوتا ہے۔
عینی شاہدین کے مطابق دونوں کے درمیان تلخ کلامی ہوئی جو دیکھتے ہی دیکھتے شدت اختیار کر گئی۔ اس دوران بلال نے مبینہ طور پر اسلحہ نکال کر فائرنگ کر دی، جس کے نتیجے میں اصالت شدید زخمی ہو گیا اور زیادہ خون بہہ جانے کے باعث موقع پر ہی دم توڑ گیا۔
اطلاع ملتے ہی پولیس موقع پر پہنچ گئی، علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے کر شواہد اکٹھے کیے گئے، جبکہ لاش کو تحویل میں لے کر پوسٹ مارٹم کے لیے قریبی ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا۔
پولیس حکام کے مطابق واقعے کا مقدمہ درج کیا جا رہا ہے اور ملزم، جو واردات کے بعد فرار ہو گیا تھا، کی گرفتاری کے لیے چھاپے مارے جا رہے ہیں۔ واقعے کی مزید تفتیش جاری ہے تاکہ قتل کے تمام پہلوؤں اور محرکات کا تعین کیا جا سکے۔
علاقہ مکینوں نے واقعے پر گہرے دکھ اور افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ ملزم کو جلد گرفتار کر کے قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے۔ پولیس نے یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ واقعے میں ملوث ملزم کو جلد گرفتار کر کے انصاف کے تقاضے پورے کیے جائیں گے۔

According to local sources, the deceased, identified as Asalat, was killed by Bilal, who is his brother-in-law. Sources revealed that Asalat had contracted a marriage of choice approximately two years ago, a decision that had caused persistent tension and resentment within the family. Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident was the result of this ongoing family rivalry.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that an argument erupted between the two, which escalated into violence. During the altercation, Bilal allegedly opened fire, resulting in fatal injuries to Asalat. He died on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. The body was taken into custody and shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination, while evidence was collected from the crime scene.
Police officials stated that a case is being registered, and raids are being conducted to arrest the accused, who fled the scene after the incident. Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances and motives behind the killing.
