Rawat: Assassination Attempt on Syed Imam Ali Gilani, One Killed

ذرائع کے مطابق واقعہ مغل پڑی نکہ کے مقام پر تھانہ روات کی حدود ضلع راولپنڈی میں پیش آیا،جہاں نامعلوم مسلح حملہ آوروں نے سید امام علی جیلانی کی گاڑی پر فائرنگ کر دی۔فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں گاڑی میں سوار ایک شخص موقع پر ہی جاں بحق ہو گیا جبکہ سید امام علی جیلانی شدید زخمی ہو گئے
سید امام علی جیلانی کو زخمی حالت میں فوری طور پر راولپنڈی منتقل کر دیا گیا
واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی پولیس کی بھاری نفری موقع پر پہنچ گئی،جائے وقوعہ کو گھیرے میں لے کر شواہد اکٹھے کر لیے گئے ہیں جبکہ واقعے کی تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے. پولیس کے مطابق حملہ آوروں کی تلاش جاری ہے اور واقعے کے مختلف پہلوؤں سے تفتیش کی جا رہی ہے

An assassination attempt was carried out on Syed Imam Ali Gilani, son of the renowned religious figure Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Gilani (RA), on Monday, resulting in the death of one person and leaving Syed Imam Ali Gilani critically injured.

According to sources, the incident occurred at the Mughal Puri Nakka area within the jurisdiction of Rawat Police Station, District Rawalpindi. Unknown armed assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Syed Imam Ali Gilani. As a result of the firing, one individual travelling in the vehicle was killed on the spot, while Syed Imam Ali Gilani sustained severe injuries.

Syed Imam Ali Gilani was immediately shifted to Rawalpindi for emergency medical treatment, where his condition is reported to be serious.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the scene, cordoned off the area, and collected evidence. Police have launched a formal investigation into the attack. According to officials, efforts are underway to trace and arrest the attackers, and the incident is being investigated from multiple angles.
