Rawat: One Killed, Eight Injured Including Two Women in Firing Incident

روات کے نواحی گاؤں سود سنبل میں دیرینہ دشمنی کے باعث ہونے والی فائرنگ کے واقعے میں ایک شخص جاں بحق جبکہ دو خواتین سمیت آٹھ افراد زخمی ہو گئے۔ واقعے کے بعد علاقے میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا، جبکہ پولیس نے فوری کارروائی کرتے ہوئے تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا ہے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق سود سنبل میں علی نامی شخص نے مبینہ طور پر آتشیں اسلحہ سے اندھا دھند فائرنگ کر دی۔ فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں محمد ثقلین شدید زخمی ہو گیا جو زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے موقع پر ہی دم توڑ گیا۔ فائرنگ سے دیگر آٹھ افراد زخمی ہوئے جن میں فرقان، سفیر، شاہد فیصل، اظہر، اختر، امجد، رابعہ شاہین زوجہ اظہر اور آسیہ زوجہ اظہر شامل ہیں۔

واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی ایس ایچ او تھانہ روات پولیس نفری کے ہمراہ موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور نعش و زخمیوں کو فوری طور پر قریبی ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا، جہاں زخمیوں کو طبی امداد فراہم کی جا رہی ہے۔ بعض زخمیوں کی حالت تشویشناک بتائی جا رہی ہے۔

ادھر سی پی او راولپنڈی ایف خالد ہمدانی نے واقعے کا سخت نوٹس لیتے ہوئے تفصیلی رپورٹ طلب کر لی ہے۔ پولیس کے مطابق ابتدائی تفتیش کے دوران چھ افراد کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا ہے اور واقعے کے تمام پہلوؤں سے تحقیقات جاری ہیں۔ پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ ملزمان کو قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے گا اور علاقے میں امن و امان کی صورتحال کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔

A man was killed and eight others, including two women, were injured in a firing incident stemming from an old enmity in the suburban village of Sood Sunbal near Rawat. The incident created panic in the area, prompting immediate police action.

According to details, a man identified as Ali allegedly opened fire with an automatic weapon in Sood Sunbal village. As a result, Muhammad Saqlain sustained critical injuries and succumbed to his wounds on the spot. Eight other individuals were injured in the firing, identified as Furqan, Safeer, Shahid Faisal, Azhar, Akhtar, Amjad, Rabia Shaheen (wife of Azhar), and Asia (wife of Azhar).

Upon receiving information, the SHO of Rawat Police Station, along with police personnel, reached the scene and shifted the deceased’s body and the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The condition of some of the injured is reported to be serious.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) F. Khalid Hamdani took notice of the incident and sought a detailed report. Police officials confirmed that six individuals have been taken into custody for investigation, and further inquiries are underway to determine the exact circumstances of the incident. Police have assured that those responsible will be brought to justice and law and order in the area will be maintained.
