Gujar Khan: UK-Returned Family Robbed at Gunpoint on GT Road – Looters Escape with Cash and Gold Worth Over 5 Million

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 19 فروری 2025) – جی ٹی روڈ پر ایک دلیرانہ ڈکیتی کی واردات پیش آئی، جہاں برطانیہ پلٹ فیملی کو گیگا مال سے واپسی پر ڈاکوؤں نے اسلحہ کی نوک پر لوٹ لیا۔ مسلح ڈاکوؤں نے متاثرہ خاندان سے 50 لاکھ روپے سے زائد مالیت کے زیورات، نقدی اور دیگر قیمتی سامان چھین لیا اور موقع سے فرار ہوگئے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق، احسن لطیف ولد لطیف، سکنہ گوجرخان، اپنی فیملی کے ہمراہ جب تھانہ مندرہ کی حدود میں داخل ہوا تو اچانک ایک سوزوکی گاڑی میں سوار چار مسلح ڈاکوؤں نے پیچھے سے ان کی گاڑی کو ٹکر ماری۔ جیسے ہی گاڑی رکی، تین ڈاکو باہر نکلے اور اسلحہ کی نوک پر فیملی کو یرغمال بنا لیا، جبکہ چوتھا ڈاکو گاڑی میں بیٹھا رہا۔

ڈاکو چھ عدد چوڑیاں، دو کڑے، ایک لیڈیز رنگ، ایک ڈائمنڈ رنگ اور ایک بریسلٹ جس کا مجموعی وزن 15 تولے اور مالیت 45 لاکھ روپے بنتی ہے، لوٹ کر فرار ہوگئے۔

احسن لطیف نے فوری طور پر پولیس ہیلپ لائن 15 پر کال کی، جس پر پولیس موقع پر پہنچ گئی اور شکایت درج کر لی گئی، تاہم ڈاکو موقع سے فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہوگئے۔

رپورٹس کے مطابق، جی ٹی روڈ پر ایک ڈکیت گینگ سرگرم ہے، جو گاڑیوں کو جان بوجھ کر ٹکر مار کر مسافروں کو لوٹنے کی وارداتیں کر رہا ہے۔ حالیہ دنوں میں حفیظ فیملی کے ساتھ بھی ایسا ہی واقعہ پیش آیا تھا، جب انہیں اسلحہ کی نوک پر لوٹا گیا تھا۔

شہریوں میں بڑھتی ہوئی وارداتوں کے باعث پولیس کی کارکردگی پر سوالیہ نشان کھڑا ہو گیا ہے، جبکہ عوام نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ قانون نافذ کرنے والے ادارے ان جرائم پیشہ گروہوں کے خلاف فوری کارروائی کریں تاکہ عوام کو تحفظ فراہم کیا جا سکے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, February 19, 2025) –A daring robbery took place on GT Road, where a UK-returned family was looted at gunpoint while returning from Giga Mall. The armed robbers deprived the victims of jewellery, cash, and valuables worth over 5 million PKR before fleeing the scene.

According to details, Ahsan Latif, son of Latif and a resident of Gujar Khan, was travelling with his family when they entered the jurisdiction of Mandra Police Station. Suddenly, a Suzuki vehicle with four armed robbers rammed into their car from behind. As soon as they stopped, three of the robbers stepped out and held the family at gunpoint, while the fourth remained in the getaway vehicle.

The robbers took six gold bangles, two bracelets, a ladies’ ring, a diamond ring, and a gold bracelet, with a total weight of 15 tolas and an estimated worth of 4.5 million PKR. After snatching the valuables, the criminals fled the scene.

Ahsan Latif immediately dialled police emergency number 15, upon which the police arrived at the scene and registered a formal complaint. However, the robbers managed to escape before any action could be taken.

Reports indicate that a gang of robbers operating on GT Road has been targeting vehicles by deliberately hitting them before executing robberies at gunpoint. A similar incident occurred recently when another local family, Hafeez’s family, was also robbed at gunpoint in Gujar Khan.

The rising number of such incidents has raised serious concerns about law enforcement’s effectiveness, as citizens demand urgent action against these criminal gangs to ensure public safety.
