Rawat, Pothohar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi – February 9, 2025) – A week-old robbery case in the RA Bazaar area of Rawalpindi took an unexpected turn as police investigations revealed that the complainant herself, along with her friend and two accomplices, orchestrated the crime.

Police arrested four suspects—Saika, Samira, Umair, and Muneeb—and recovered Rs. 853,000 in stolen cash along with weapons. According to police reports, Saika’s friend had given her jewellery to sell, but instead of returning the proceeds, Saika devised a plan to stage a robbery. She conspired with her friend Samira and associates Umair and Muneeb to fabricate the crime and register a false case.

Using technical surveillance and human intelligence, the police uncovered the truth, exposing the complainant’s involvement. Commending swift action, CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani praised SP Pothohar, DSP Cantt, and RA Bazaar police for solving the case efficiently. He assured that the suspects would be prosecuted with solid evidence to ensure strict punishment.
