London: Secretary-General Allama Qazi Abdul Aziz Chishti of Gujar Khan condemned recent remarks by US President Donald Trump

لندن (پوٹھوارڈاٹ کام، 08 فروری 2025) –مرکزی جماعت اہلسنت برطانیہ اور یورپ نے امریکی صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کی جانب سے غزہ کے حوالے سے حالیہ بیانات پر گہری تشویش کا اظہار کیا اور اسکی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کی۔

سیکریٹری جنرل علامہ قاضی عبدالعزیز چشتی آ ف گوجر خان نے مرکزی جماعت اہلسنت برطانیہ و یورپ نے کہا کہ ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ کا بیان نہ صرف بیرحم بلکہ فلسطینی عوام کی زندگیوں اور حقوق کی کھلم کھلا خلاف ورزی بھی ہے۔ کسی بھی علاقے پر ملکیت کی تجویز خود مختاری اور خود ارادیت کے اصولوں کی توہین ہے جو بین الاقوامی قانون میں برقرار ہیں۔

علامہ چشتی نے برطانیہ اور دنیا بھر کے مسلم رہنماؤں پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ جمعے کے خطبے کو صدر ٹرمپ کے بیان کے خلاف شعور اُجاگر کرنے اور بولنے کیلیے ایک پلیٹ فارم کے طور پر استعمال کریں۔

انہوں نے فلسطینی کاز کے ساتھ یکجہتی کی اہمیت پر زور دیتے ہوئے برادریوں پر زور دیا کہ وہ اپنی دعاؤں اور مباحثوں میں انصاف اور فلسطینیوں کے حقوق کی وکالت کریں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم ایسے بیانات پر خاموش نہیں رہ سکتے جو پہلے ہی ناقابل تصور مشکلات کا سامنا کرنے والی کمیونٹی کو حاشیے پر ڈالنے اور اس پر ظلم کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں۔علامہ چشتی نے مزید کہا کہ فلسطین میں اپنے بھائیوں اور بہنوں کی حمایت کرنا ہمارا فرض ہے۔

Secretary-General Allama Qazi Abdul Aziz Chishti of Gujar Khan stated that Trump’s remarks are not only ruthless but also a blatant violation of Palestinian rights and lives. He emphasised that any proposal to claim ownership of a region undermines the principles of sovereignty and self-determination enshrined in international law.

Allama Chishti urged Muslim leaders across the UK and worldwide to use their Friday sermons as a platform to raise awareness and speak out against Trump’s statement.

Highlighting the significance of solidarity with the Palestinian cause, he encouraged communities to advocate for justice and Palestinian rights through prayers and discussions.

“We cannot remain silent in the face of statements that seek to marginalise and oppress a community already enduring unimaginable hardships,” he added. “It is our duty to stand in support of our Palestinian brothers and sisters.”
