Gujar Khan: Deadly U-Turns in Gujar Khan Claim Two More Lives

گوجرخان – (پوٹھوہار ڈاٹ کام، 08 فروری 2025) – گوجرخان میں جی ٹی روڈ پر خطرناک یوٹرن ایک بار پھر قیمتی جانیں لے گئے۔ دو مختلف حادثات میں دو افراد جاں بحق جبکہ دو شدید زخمی ہوگئے۔

پہلا حادثہ بڑکی موڑ یوٹرن کے قریب پیش آیا، جہاں بحریہ فاؤنڈیشن اسکول کے کمسن طالب علم نے جان گنوا دی۔ افسوسناک واقعہ اس وقت پیش آیا جب ایک والد اپنے بیٹے کو اسکول چھوڑنے جا رہا تھا کہ حادثے کا شکار ہوگیا۔ کمسن طالب علم، حمزہ محسن، موقع پر جاں بحق ہوگیا جبکہ والد شدید زخمی ہو گیا۔

دوسرا حادثہ تحصیل دفتر کے سامنے جی ٹی روڈ پر پیش آیا، جہاں راولپنڈی جانے والے دو ٹرک آپس میں ٹکرا گئے۔ حادثے کے نتیجے میں ایک شخص جاں بحق جبکہ دوسرا زخمی ہوگیا۔ جاں بحق ہونے والے شخص کی شناخت لال محمد کے نام سے ہوئی جبکہ زخمی شخص میردل بتایا جا رہا ہے۔ ریسکیو 1122 کے عملے نے فوری طور پر جائے حادثہ پر پہنچ کر نعش اور زخمی کو اسپتال منتقل کر دیا۔

ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق، دونوں حادثات میں مرنے اور زخمی ہونے والے افراد کا تعلق کوہاٹ سے ہے۔

عوامی اور سماجی حلقوں نے گوجرخان میں ان یوٹرنز پر ہونے والے بار بار حادثات پر شدید غم و غصے کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ انہوں نے موٹر وے پولیس اور اعلیٰ حکام پر کڑی تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان حادثات کو روکنے کے لیے کوئی موثر اقدام نہیں کیا جا رہا۔ شہریوں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ اس سنگین مسئلے کا فوری حل نکالا جائے تاکہ مزید قیمتی جانوں کے ضیاع کو روکا جا سکے۔

Gujar Khan – (Pothwar.com, 8 February 2025) – The dangerous U-turns on the GT Road in Gujar Khan have once again claimed precious lives, as two separate accidents resulted in the deaths of two individuals, while two others sustained severe injuries.

In the first accident, a young student of Bahria Foundation School lost his life near Barki Mor U-turn. The tragic incident occurred when a father was taking his son to school and met with a fatal accident. The young student, identified as Hamza Mohsin, died on the spot, while his father suffered critical injuries.

The second accident took place on GT Road in front of the Tehsil Office. A collision between two trucks, en route to Rawalpindi, led to the death of one individual and left another injured. The deceased, Lal Muhammad, and the injured, Mirdil, were both travelling in one of the trucks. Rescue 1122 teams promptly arrived at the scene and transferred the deceased and injured to the hospital.

According to rescue sources, both the deceased and the injured in the truck accident hailed from Kohat.

Public and social circles have strongly criticised the authorities for their negligence regarding the frequent accidents occurring at these U-turns in Gujar Khan. They condemned the motorway police and higher officials for failing to take any concrete action to prevent such incidents. The concerned citizens have urged authorities to take immediate steps to resolve this serious issue to prevent further loss of life.
