Rawat: Armed Robbers Open Fire on Police in Pirwadhai: One Suspect Killed, Two Escape

روات–(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، اکرام الحق قریشی،27، ستمبر، 2024ء ) –پیرودھائی کے علاقہ میں رات گئے موٹر سائیکل سوار تین ڈاکؤوں کی پولیس پارٹی پر فائرنگ، فائرنگ کے دوران ایک ڈاکو ہلاک، دو ڈاکو فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے فرار، ہلاک ڈاکو سے پسٹل اور موٹر سائیکل برآمد، ڈاکؤوں سے برآمد موٹر سائیکل اسی ماہ نیوٹاؤن کے علاقہ میں شہری سے گن پوائنٹ پر چھینا گیا تھا، ملزمان کی فائرنگ سے گولی کانسٹیبل اکرم خان کو بھی لگی جو بلٹ پروف جیکٹ کی وجہ سے محفوظ رہے، پولیس ٹیم ڈھوک نجو پل پر موجود تھی اسی دوران موٹر سائیکل کو رکنے کا اشارہ کیا تو ملزمان نے فائرنگ شروع کر دی،
واقعہ کی اطلاع پر سینئر پولیس افسران موقع پر پہنچ گئے، فرار ڈاکؤوں کی گرفتاری کے لئے سرچنگ جاری، ہلاک ڈاکو کی نعش کو ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا ہے، ملزمان کی فائرنگ کے باوجود بہادری سے مقابلہ کرنے پر سی پی او سید خالد ہمدانی کی ایس پی راول، ایس ڈی پی او سٹی اور پیرودھائی پولیس کو شاباش شہریوں اور پولیس پر حملہ کرنے والے قانون کی گرفت سے نہیں بچ سکتے، سی پی او

Ikram ul Haq Qureshi, Pothohar.com, September 27, 2024— Late last night in the Pirwadhai area, three motorcycle-riding robbers opened fire on a police patrol. During the exchange, one of the robbers was shot and killed, while the other two managed to flee while firing at the police. A pistol and a stolen motorcycle were recovered from the deceased robber. The motorcycle had been snatched at gunpoint earlier this month in the New Town area.

Constable Akram Khan was struck by a bullet during the gunfire but was unharmed due to his bulletproof vest. The police team was stationed at the Dhoke Naju Bridge when they signaled the suspects to stop, which led to the shooting.

Senior police officials quickly arrived at the scene, and a search operation is underway to capture the fleeing suspects. The body of the deceased robber has been moved to the hospital.
In recognition of the officers’ bravery despite coming under fire, CPO Syed Khalid Hamdani praised the Rawal SP, City SDPO, and the Pirwadhai police. “Those who attack civilians and police will not escape the law,” the CPO stated.
