Rawat: Rawalpindi Traffic Police Crack Down on Helmetless Motorcyclists, Mandatory Helmet Display for Challan Submission

روات–(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، اکرام الحق قریشی،22، ستمبر، 2024ء ) –راولپنڈی ٹریفک پولیس نے بغیر ہیلمٹ موٹر سائیکل سواروں کے خلاف کارروائی کا آغاز کر دیا ۔اب چالان جمع کروانے کیساتھ ہیلمٹ بھی دکھانا لازمی ہو گا ۔ بغیر ہیلمٹ موٹر سائیکل سواروں کو چالان ٹکٹ جاری کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ ان کی موٹر سائیکلیں بھی قریبی تھانوں میں بند کی جا رہی ہیں۔اس سلسلہ میں سی ٹی او بینش فاطمہ کا کہنا تھا کہ ہیلمٹ نہ دکھانے پر موٹر سائیکل واپس نہیں کی جائے گی۔

Rawalpindi – (Pothwar.com, Ikram ul Haq Qureshi, September 22, 2024) – Rawalpindi Traffic Police have launched an operation against motorcyclists riding without helmets.

In a new directive, it has been made mandatory for violators to present their helmets when submitting traffic challans. A fine of Rs2,000 would be imposed on motorcycle riders without helmets.

Along with issuing challan tickets, motorcycles of riders found without helmets are being impounded at nearby police stations.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Benish Fatima stated that motorcycles will not be returned unless the rider can produce a helmet.
