سوشل میڈیا پر شیئر کی گئی تصاویر اور ویڈیوز میں گاڑیوں کو گھٹنوں تک گہرے پانی سے گزرتے اور پیدل چلنے والوں کو سیلاب زدہ سڑک پر جانے کے لیے جدوجہد کرتے ہوئے دکھایا گیا ہے۔ اچانک سیلاب نے املاک اور گاڑیوں کو کافی نقصان پہنچایا ہے، بہت سے رہائشیوں نے مقامی حکومت کی جانب سے تیاری نہ ہونے پر مایوسی کا اظہار کیا ہے۔
ایک مقامی باشندے نے تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا، “ہر سال، ہمیں ایک ہی مسئلہ کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے، اور اسے حل کرنے کے لیے کچھ نہیں کیا جاتا۔ حکام کو ذمہ داری لینے کی ضرورت ہے اور مانسون کی بارش شروع ہونے سے پہلے نالیوں کی صفائی کو یقینی بنانے کی ضرورت ہے۔

A local resident, voiced concerns, saying, “Every year, we face the same problem, and nothing is done to fix it. The authorities need to take responsibility and ensure that drains are cleaned before the monsoon rains start.
