Gujar Khan: Wapda Bewal staff line man Malik Tanvir electrocuted while working on electricity poll

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 27 مئی 2024) – گوجر خان میں ایک افسوسناک واقعہ میں بیول کے علاقے میں واپڈا کا لائن مین ملک تنویر بجلی کے کھمبے کی مرمت کے دوران کرنٹ لگنے سے جاں بحق ہوگیا۔ حادثہ اس وقت پیش آیا جب وہ مقامی کمیونٹی کو بجلی بحال کرنے کے لیے معمول کی دیکھ بھال کے کام انجام دے رہا تھا۔
عینی شاہدین کے مطابق گاؤں مال اعوان سے تعلق رکھنے والا ملک تنویر کھمبے کی مرمت کر رہا تھا کہ اس کا جسم لاہو تار سے ہو گیا۔ اسے بچانے کی فوری کوششوں کے باوجود ہائی وولٹیج کا جھٹکا جان لیوا ثابت ہوا۔ اسے بیول انٹرنیشنل ہسپتال لے جایا گیا لیکن وہ ہائی وولٹیج کا جھٹکاکی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے چل بسا۔
مقامی حکام اور واپڈا نے اس واقعے کی تحقیقات شروع کر دی ہیں تاکہ حفاظتی پروٹوکول کی پیروی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے اور مستقبل میں ایسے سانحات کو روکا جا سکے۔ ملک تنویر اپنی لگن اور خدمت کے لیے جانے جاتے تھے، اور ان کی بے وقت موت نے کمیونٹی اور ان کے ساتھیوں کو گہرا صدمہ پہنچایا ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, May 27, 2024) –  In a tragic incident in Gujar Khan, Malik Tanvir, a lineman working for WAPDA in the Bewal area, was electrocuted and died while repairing an electricity pole. The accident occurred as he performed routine maintenance tasks to restore power to the local community.

According to eyewitnesses, Malik Tanvir who belonged to village Mal Awan was in the process of repairing the pole when he came into contact with a live wire. Despite immediate efforts to rescue him, the high-voltage shock proved fatal. He was taken to Bewal International Hospital but died from the injures.

The local authorities and WAPDA have launched an investigation into the incident to ensure that safety protocols were followed and to prevent such tragedies in the future. Malik Tanvir was known for his dedication and service, and his untimely death has deeply saddened the community and his colleagues.
