روات (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم,23،اکتوبر,2023)— اساتذہ اور سرکاری ملازمین کی ہڑتال اور تعلیمی بائیکاٹ گزشتہ روز ختم ہو گیا۔ تمام سرکاری سکول کھل گئے تاہم طلباء کی حاضری 30 فی صد رہی۔ اساتذہ کا موقف ہے کہ پیر سے حاضری بڑھ جائے گی۔ ادھر اساتذہ کی ہڑتال ختم ہونے پر مختلف گروپ اس بات پر ابہام کا شکار ہیں کہ اعلی قیادت نے کوئی تحریری معاہدہ کئے بغیر ہڑتال کو ایک اعلی سیاسی شخصیت کے کہنے پر ختم کر دیا۔ذرائع نے بتایا کہ نواز شریف کے جلسہ کی وجہ سے مسلم لیگ کی اعلی قیادت نے مذاکرات کر کے ہڑتالی ملازمین اور اساتذہ کو ہڑتال ختم کرنے پر مجبور کیا تاکہ جلسے والے دن کوئی بدمزگی پیدا نہ ہو۔ذرائع کے مطابق لیگی قیادت کے ساتھ ہونے والے مذاکرات میں متقلقہ سرکاری حکام بھی موجود تھے جن کی یقین دہانی پر ہڑتال ختم کی گئی۔ ادھر والدین نے تقریبا دو ہفتہ تک کلاسز نہ ہونے پر ہونے والے تعلیمی نقصان پر تشویش کا اطہار کیا۔ گزشتہ روز وزیر اعلی نے بھی بے نظیر ہسپتال کے دورہ کے دوران سکولوں کی نج کاری کیمنصوبے پر کہا کہ نگران حکومت کا ایسا کوئی ارادہ نہیں ہے۔

All government schools have reopened, yet student attendance remains at only 30 percent. The teachers maintain that attendance will increase from Monday onwards.

In the aftermath of the teachers’ strike ending, various groups are confused about whether the higher leadership ended the strike based on the directive of a prominent political figure without formal written agreements. Reports suggest that due to a rally led by Nawaz Sharif, the senior leadership of the Muslim League engaged in negotiations and compelled the striking employees and teachers to end the strike to avoid any untoward incidents during the rally.

According to sources, government officials were also present during the negotiations with the League’s leadership, which led to the conclusion of the strike. On the other hand, parents expressed concerns about the educational losses incurred due to nearly two weeks of school closures.

Just yesterday, the Chief Minister, during his visit to Benazir Hospital, reassured the public that the government has no intention to neglect the maintenance of schools during this crisis.
