RAWALPINDI (Pothwar.com \u2014 Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, October 21, 2026):<\/strong> The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged pilgrims registered under the government Hajj scheme to ensure timely payment of their second instalment to avoid cancellation of their Hajj applications. The deadline for payment of Hajj dues was set for October 20.<\/h4>\n

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, approximately 97,000 pilgrims under the government scheme have so far deposited their second instalment. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the spokesperson said that payments amounting to Rs61 billion had been received through the Digital Hajj Portal.<\/h4>\n

The spokesperson shared details of the payment methods used by pilgrims, stating that 45,245 individuals had completed their payments through the One Link system, while 3,685 pilgrims had paid using debit or credit cards. Meanwhile, 47,563 pilgrims had deposited their dues through manual bank challans.<\/h4>\n

The ministry has advised pilgrims who have not yet completed their payments to fulfil their financial obligations without further delay. It warned that failure to pay the required dues within the stipulated timeframe could result in the cancellation of their Hajj applications.<\/h4>\n

Pilgrims have been instructed to use the National Information Technology Board’s Hajj Portal or the Pak Hajj mobile application to complete their payments and access the latest information regarding Hajj arrangements.<\/h4>\n

In addition to the payment requirements, the ministry has emphasised the importance of completing the mandatory medical fitness documentation. Pilgrims are required to download the medical fitness certificate available on the Hajj Portal and have it examined and verified by a qualified doctor.<\/h4>\n

Once verified, the medical fitness certificate must be uploaded to the Hajj Portal to complete the required documentation process. Pilgrims have been advised to ensure that their medical certificates are properly verified and uploaded in accordance with the ministry’s instructions.<\/h4>\n

The spokesperson further urged all registered pilgrims to regularly use the Pak Hajj application to stay informed about new announcements, procedural requirements and other important instructions related to Hajj.<\/h4>\n

The ministry reiterated that timely payment of dues and completion of the required medical formalities are essential steps for pilgrims participating in the government Hajj scheme.<\/h4>\n
