Arshad Mahmood of Takal has filed the petition against the Election Commission and several other respondents, arguing that Takal has historically been part of Union Council Choa Khalsa since its inception.<\/h4>\n

According to the petitioner, the Election Commission, in the recently finalized delimitations, separated four blocks of Takal from Choa Khalsa and incorporated them into Smot. He termed the decision unjust and contrary to the longstanding administrative arrangement of the area.<\/h4>\n

Justice Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood has summoned the respondents for the preliminary hearing of the petition today, Wednesday.<\/h4>\n
