He had been living in the UK for the past 66 years.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Qazi Zamir Akhtar was the father of Qazi Aslam Zamir, who resides in Glasgow, and brother-in-law of Qazi Abdul Malik of Goleen\/Glasgow. He was also the maternal uncle of Kallar Syedan journalist Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi and former President of the Rawalpindi District Punjab Teachers Union, Ehsan-ul-Haq Qureshi.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">According to family sources, Qazi Zamir Akhtar had been receiving treatment at a hospital in Glasgow for the past two months. Despite medical treatment, he could not recover and passed away.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">His funeral prayer will be offered today, Friday, after the Friday prayers at Central Mosque Glasgow.
