London, August 22, 2026 (Pothwar.com \u2013 Mohammad Naseer Raja): Mohammed Khan, who drove at more than 100mph (160km\/h) in a 30mph (48 km\/h) zone and left a teenager with life-changing injuries, has been jailed.<\/h4>\n

Mohammed Khan hit the 17-year-old boy with his Mercedes A45 on Halifax Road in Bradford on 16 September 2024.<\/h4>\n

After hitting the victim, who lost a leg as a result of the crash, Khan fled the scene, removed his number plates and arranged for the car to be recovered and hidden, according to West Yorkshire Police.<\/h4>\n

The 25-year-old, of Donisthorpe Street in Bradford, admitted causing serious injury by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice and was jailed for 40 months at Bradford Crown Court on Friday.<\/h4>\n

Police said: “This case shows that dangerous driving can lead to catastrophic results.<\/h4>\n

“People need to understand that speed limits are there for everyone’s safety and to blatantly ignore this is unacceptable.”<\/h4>\n
