During the exchange of fire, one member of an alleged inter-district robbery gang was injured and arrested, while his accomplices managed to escape.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Police identified the injured suspect as <strong>Saleem<\/strong>, who is reportedly a known and previously record-holder in robbery and other criminal cases. Police said that when officers signalled the motorcycle riders to stop, the suspects opened fire on the police party.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Senior police officers reached the scene after being informed of the incident. The injured suspect was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, while police teams continued searching for the escaped suspects.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><strong>CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera<\/strong> praised the <strong>SP Saddar, ASP Saddar and Rawat police team<\/strong> for their bravery in confronting the armed suspects and successfully arresting the injured gang member.<\/h4>\n<h4>The CPO said that individuals who endanger the lives and property of citizens or attack police officers would not be able to escape the law.
