During the inspection, officials discovered large quantities of vanaspati ghee<\/strong>, which was allegedly being mixed with butter in violation of food safety regulations. Samples collected from the site were sent to a laboratory for analysis. The laboratory report confirmed that the butter contained vanaspati ghee adulteration<\/strong>, while the level of yeast exceeded the permissible safety limits<\/strong>, rendering the product hazardous for human consumption.<\/h4>\n

Further investigation revealed that the illegal unit was operating under the name “MK Brand Dairy Processing Unit.”<\/strong> Authorities alleged that the products were being packaged with counterfeit labels<\/strong> of well-known brands, including Lyallpur Butter<\/strong> and Tazo Butter<\/strong>, and falsely marketed using addresses from Islamabad<\/strong> and Faisalabad<\/strong> to mislead consumers and facilitate their sale in the market.<\/h4>\n

Officials described the use of fake branding and misleading labeling as an attempt to deceive consumers and conceal the true origin of the products. The adulterated butter was reportedly being distributed in the market under the names of these established brands.<\/h4>\n
