Road have finally received relief after a long-standing damaged electricity pole was replaced by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), ending months of concern over public safety and disruption.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">According to residents, the damaged electricity pole had remained in a hazardous condition for a considerable period, posing risks to pedestrians, motorists, and nearby businesses. Although WAPDA teams had previously visited the site to carry out the replacement, the work could not be completed.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Sources said that on earlier occasions, political rivalry and attempts by certain political figures to claim credit for the project delayed the installation. A new electricity pole had reportedly been lying at the site for an extended period, but the replacement work remained stalled due to ongoing political disagreements and competition over public recognition.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The matter was eventually resolved when WAPDA officials proceeded with the work independently and successfully installed the new electricity pole without any political involvement.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Speaking on the issue, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) clarified that no political worker or leader played any role in the completion of the project.
