(Ashura) processions and religious gatherings (Majalis) in various areas of Gujar Khan to ensure the peaceful observance of the occasion.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During the visit, ASP Gujar Khan, the SHO of Gujar Khan, and other senior police officers accompanied the SP. The inspection focused on evaluating security measures, deployment of personnel, surveillance, and crowd management plans implemented for the religious events.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">SP Saddar Anam Sher thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements and issued necessary directives to the officers on duty. She emphasised that all participants must be allowed entry into the processions only after undergoing complete body searches at designated entry points to prevent any security threats.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">She further directed that all Majalis and processions must strictly adhere to the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), following their designated routes and scheduled timings for commencement and conclusion without deviation.<\/h4>\n<h4 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The SP stated that the Punjab Government&#8217;s SOPs issued for Muharram-ul-Haram are being implemented in letter and spirit to ensure the safety and security of mourners. She added that all available police resources have been mobilised to maintain a peaceful and secure environment throughout Muharram.<\/h4>\n<h4>Reaffirming the commitment of Rawalpindi Police, SP Saddar Anam Sher said that comprehensive security measures have been put in place to safeguard participants and maintain law and order.
