London (Pothwar.com \u2013 Mohammad Naseer Raja, June 06, 2026): Amir Mushtaq from Bradford whose car was rammed by police after a 13-minute chase ran across six lanes of a motorway to escape.<\/h4>\n

Amir Mushtaq then hid but was located by a police dog, which bit him on the leg.<\/h4>\n

Mushtaq, 34, of Whetley Lane, is now beginning a 40-month prison sentence for a shocking catalogue of motoring offences spanning almost a year.<\/h4>\n

Between April 2025 and March this year, he was involved in three police pursuits which ended each time with him abandoning his vehicle and running off.<\/h4>\n

Prosecuting barrister Corey Boothe said Mushtaq had a previous conviction for causing serious injury by dangerous driving, for which he received three years\u2019 imprisonment and a five-year ban.<\/h4>\n

On April 15 last year, police received a report that a male in a Seat Leon was inhaling nitrous.<\/h4>\n

Mushtaq was at the wheel and was seen inhaling from a balloon.<\/h4>\n

He drove off, initiating a three-minute pursuit that ended when he was blocked by another police vehicle.<\/h4>\n

He still had the balloon in his mouth when he was arrested. Two bags of cocaine were found in the car.<\/h4>\n

His Honour Judge Tahir Khan KC handed Mushtaq a total of 40 months in prison for his 11-month period of offending.<\/h4>\n
