Under the new regulation, obtaining the certificate will be a prerequisite before the registration or transfer of any property.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1205\">Authorities stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to eliminate fraud, forged documentation, and issues such as double selling in the real estate sector. The move is also aimed at strengthening action against illegal land occupation and organised land mafias.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"1207\" data-end=\"1492\">The spokesperson further advised citizens to obtain the Green Property Certificate from their respective land record centres before engaging in any property transaction.
