<span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rawalpindi<\/span><\/span> has introduced a revised age criterion for school admissions and issued important guidelines for parents.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"471\" data-end=\"727\">According to the new policy, the minimum required age for admission is set as follows: 3 years for Nursery, 4 years for Prep, 5 years for Class 1, 6 years for Class 2, 7 years for Class 3, 8 years for Class 4, 9 years for Class 5, and 10 years for Class 6.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"1044\">Additionally, students must be 11 years old for Class 7, 12 years old for Class 8, 13 years old for Class 9, and at least 14 years old for Class 10. Officials emphasised that at the time of registration for Class 9 board examinations, the student must be at least 13 years old; otherwise, registration will not be accepted.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1338\">It is noteworthy that admissions in private schools had already commenced in January, while the admission process in public schools began on April 1.
