Under the auspices of Bazm-e-Ahbab-e-Pakistan, Norway, a dignified, intellectual, and ideological ceremony was organised at Hira Catering to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Baba-e-Qaum Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA). Although the event was held with a delay of one month, the participants\u2019 spirit of devotion and intellectual commitment remained undiminished.<\/h4>\n

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. In his opening remarks, Muhammad Anwar Sufi stated that after a long hiatus, this mission had been revived with the fundamental objective of highlighting Pakistan, the ideology of Pakistan, and the Two-Nation Theory, while keeping alive the thoughts of great leaders such as Allama Iqbal (RA) and Quaid-e-Azam (RA) in practical life. He emphasised that while these leaders cannot be brought back, their mission can be honoured by bringing positive change in our speech, actions, and character.<\/h4>\n

Addressing the gathering, Maulana Mehboob-ur-Rehman shed detailed light on Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s Islamic vision, political insight, and his historic role in the creation of Pakistan. Renowned Norwegian intellectual Knut J\u00f8rgen Plesner<\/strong> presented his translations of Allama Muhammad Iqbal\u2019s poetry, which were highly appreciated by the audience.<\/h4>\n

Khizra Hussain, Iffat Hassan Rizvi, and Zahid Bashir also shared their views on the occasion. The speakers highlighted Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s political strategy, the Two-Nation Theory, and his deep understanding of global affairs. Zahid Bashir, referring to Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s address of August 11, explained that the speech primarily aimed to reassure minorities, while Jinnah\u2019s pre-partition struggle remained centred on Islamic civilisation and the Two-Nation Theory. He reiterated that Quaid-e-Azam had repeatedly declared that the constitution of the new state would be framed in accordance with Islamic principles.<\/h4>\n

Iffat Hassan Rizvi stated that one clear proof of Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s foresight is Pakistan\u2019s continued refusal to recognise Israel. Referring to historian Mian Muhammad Afzal\u2019s book Mera Karwan<\/em>, she highlighted that Quaid-e-Azam had been raising his voice for Palestine since 1938, established the Palestine Fund, and wrote strong letters to the British government in support of the Palestinian cause.<\/h4>\n

In his concluding address, Muhammad Anwar Sufi remarked that Islam did not need a state; rather, Muslims needed a secure state, and Pakistan is the practical manifestation of that idea. He stressed that Quaid-e-Azam\u2019s dream was the welfare and well-being of Muslims, a vision that still demands serious reflection today.<\/h4>\n
