A significant legal development has emerged in the high-profile double murder case that occurred at a marriage hall in Gujjar Khan, as the court has granted bail to one of the accused.<\/h4>\n

Additional Sessions Judge Gujjar Khan, Basit Aleem<\/strong>, approved the bail application of the accused Hassan Akhtar<\/strong> and ordered his release after the completion of legal formalities.<\/h4>\n

According to case details, the incident took place on December 5, 2025<\/strong>, during a wedding ceremony at a Gujar Khan marriage hall. The tragic shooting incident reportedly stemmed from an old enmity between the parties. During the event, the deceased Rehman Ali<\/strong>, along with his associates, allegedly opened fire, killing Mohammad Zareed Chattha of Walsall, UK and Mahnder<\/strong>\u00a0on the spot.<\/h4>\n

In the same violent exchange, Rehman Ali<\/strong> was also hit by gunfire and died at the scene, resulting in a double murder case that shocked the local community.<\/h4>\n

Following the incident, Hassan Akhtar<\/strong> was nominated in the case on charges of allegedly facilitating and being involved in the murder of Rehman Ali.<\/h4>\n

During the hearing of the bail application, renowned Gujar Khan-based legal expert Qaiser Mahmood Raja, Advocate Supreme Court<\/strong>, appeared before the court on behalf of the accused. He presented detailed and well-reasoned arguments, emphasising the innocence of his client and highlighting key legal weaknesses in the prosecution\u2019s case.<\/h4>\n

After hearing arguments from the defence counsel and reviewing the available record, the Additional Sessions Judge concluded that the case fell within the ambit of further inquiry and subsequently approved the bail application of Hassan Akhtar, ordering his release.<\/h4>\n
